Cant blo*dy believe it!!
Went for a finalish meeting with Anton our wedding planner tonight and I remember him telling us early last year that one of the weddings being held there was being fimed!!
He was very coy about it but did show us a sample of the cake, which was a pink castle, and I honestly didnt think anything about it. I asked him tonight when we were chatting and he said it was for MBFGW!!!!
It was for the wedding of the girl who worked at the hotel near East Midlands apparently but I saw that one and not once recognised the venue!!
He then went on to tell me that that TV production team came in and virtually re constructed the place!! They covered the curtains with pink swagging and made sure all the chairs were covered the same. basically really tacked the place to the max!!
He also told me that the wedding party and guests behaved impeccibly (sp) but the production team were giving them (bride and groom and guests) orders all day!! I.e your not laughing enough, playing up enough ect!!
Just makes you think how much was put on/forced on for TV eh??
Im still getting over the shock but still love my venue!!!
