Need advice: How to hide an ugly corner in the hallway?

Alina, yesterday at 13:24 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 2

I have this awkward, empty corner in my hallway right next to the radiator, and it’s driving me crazy. It’s too narrow for a chair or a cabinet, so I figured a tall plant would be the perfect solution. The problem is, most pots I find are either too short (so the plant just looks "lost" there) or way too bulky for a narrow passage. I’m looking for something slim, elegant, and tall—something that looks like a design element on its own. Ideally, I want a planter that is at least 70-90cm high. Has anyone found a brand that does high-quality tall planters that don't look like cheap office decor? Also, since it's near a radiator, it needs to be made of a material that won't warp or crack from the heat.

I had the exact same "dead corner" issue in my office! A tall, slender planter is definitely the way to go. I managed to find a really sleek one at https://getpotted.com/planters/tall/ They have a dedicated section for tall pots, and what I like is that many of them come with internal liners, so you don't have to fill the entire giant pot with soil (which makes it impossible to move). I went for a matte black finish in a tapered shape, and it completely changed the look of the room. It’s stayed right next to my heater all winter and hasn't faded or cracked at all. If you want something that looks expensive but is actually functional, just filter by height on their site—there are some stunning options there that look more like sculptures than flower pots.

The internal liner idea is a game changer, I was actually worried about the weight! Thanks for the link.
