Need fancy dress help - Barbara Cartland!

All my friends think I am going to turn into Barbara Cartland when I get old ?

I am going to a fancy dress party next week and I really want to go as her ? I have won every year so far, and I can't not win again ?

Does anyone know what I can wear? I know i have left it short notice, as usual! I have tried a couple pf fancy dress shops but they don't stock anything.

Am I looking for a hideous bright pink ballgown/bridesmaid dress thing??

I have a small toy dog I can take with me ?

    Oooooh, what fun! I'd wear satin pyjamas, a feather boa and cerise lipstick. Everything pink, natch.

    Don't you have a dress that is very Barbara Cartland already? You were going to wear it for your birthday party. (How was that btw?)

    This is a totally fabulous idea! You must get a really horrid pink hat to wear and loads of green eyeshadow. Please, please post pictures

    He's got a new prgramme on Bravo, Toughest Gangs or something. He's looking a little fat faced in the ad which is a shame. I lurve him.

    I am going to get a granny wig, american tights, long white gloves and blue eyeshado & massive false lashes.

    I would really love a hideous pink OTT hat....... will look at some charity shops.

    My friend suggested I wear the dress I wore to my birthday party. I hate her ?
