Need help with colour theme ideas!

My fiancé is also wearing a light blue suit. We’re going shades of pink and a little bit of teal. If you look up a pastel version of the colour wheel you’ll get some ideas. Colours opposite each other (pink and blue) complement each other, colours next to each other (blue and green) are contrasting. You can read about complementary and contrasting colour themes to get ideas of what you might like - for us, going with all 3 (( technically called a triadic scheme I think) just added a bit more interest and options than having a two colour scheme.


The other thing I was conscious of was groomsmens suits not distracting/detracting from the grooms suit. We figured a pale grey goes nicely with pale blue without overpowering it, like black or dark colours might, but I also thought a sandy/beige went well too

Grey would tone nicely (it's already quite often done in the reverse, grey suit with light blue tie)

Pink will go well and the colours will pop more than say a grey. you could go bold and have lemon. We have pastel rainbow, so my BMs are in dresses of pastel colours

We're going for shades of sea blues for the bridesmaids, and the guys are wearing tan suits. The main colour will be the blue shades, but we're accenting this with shade of gold (not too glitzy, more boho old gold). I almost went the other way round as I saw some dreamy gold bridesmaid dresses so that could be an option for you!

My other thought is if you went for a full pastel theme, the bridesmaids could be allocated a different pastel colour each but in the same dress, and you could have a spectrum of pastel colours in your flowers and decor!

I saw this on Pinterest earlier today and thought the colours looked gorgeous. There's a pale blue used on the envelope liners that tones well with the other green and lilac colours, and keeps everything from being TOO blue... Plus, bridesmaid dresses in these colours are easy to come by!
