Need help with the colour plum

When I was looking for navy dresses I think I saw one or two plum dresses in Coast. My friend used an online retailer for bridesmaid dresses and they had a big choice of colours and they looked really nice. Only problem is I can't remember the name of it but if I can find out I will let you know.

I can vouch for 'The Dress Bay'- they are in Facebook and have a web page. The lady is very helpful and they have a huge range of colours in their 'wrap dress' range- she will also send you swatches of some of the colours for their other dresses if you ask! Good luck!

I'm having the same problem!!! I've bought a dress off ebay to have a look at the colour (the colour name is actually 'violet red' but it looks quite like a plum colour). I will let you know what its like when it comes ?

Someone recommended a group on Facebook to me called 'China Dressess and China Wedding supplies - purely reviews', and it's been so helpful with recommending decent sellers. Also, if it helps a friend of mine bought her bridesmaid dresses from a seller on ebay called 'crystal_dresses' and they looked great.

I've had two dresses (one formal dress, one bridesmaid dress) from Courtesan Boutique, the shop is in the UK, but I think the dresses may come from china (maybe?). You can order online and they make it to your measurements, and they both fit me like a glove.

They have loads of colour choices and you can order fabric swatches.

Depending on when you're getting married it may be worth having another look at the high street around Xmas - I find plum is more of a wintery colour so can imagine more shops stocking plum dresses around that time of year

We have just been round the bridal shops and have found the closest to what I call plum is often called eggplant (beware aubergine is often a different colour)

we have now decided on a Ebony Rose dress after trying one a bunch yesterday and today.

My friend used simplebridesmaiddresses.co.uk for her bridesmaid dresses and they looked lovely. They had various colours in lots of styles.

I was aiming for the same colour and just couldn't see anything, completely changed it round and now I am for mint green :/
