Congratulations! You sound so excited!

You sound to be thinking along the right lines for moneysaving with making things yourself, and it's a LOT cheaper (10 times cheaper!) to go to the registrar rather than have them come to you.

You can get a lot of the clothes for the bridal party on the high street, there are some gorgeous things at Coast, Monsoon, Debenhams, Next etc. that are a lot less expensive than you'd think.

E*bay is fantastic for little bits and bobs. I just bought my veil from there for £20 and it's better quality than the one the bridal shop were trying to sell to me for £75! And all the card/paper/envelopes for my invites came to around £20 too.

Bridal shops often also have sales, and you can buy the sample dress for a big discount.

Keep an eye out on here for lots of other moneysaving tips, it's a great resource.

I'm Claire, 38, and getting married 13th June. It's my 2nd time and h2b's first. We have 4 kids between us, my sons aged 19 & 17, his daughter aged 10 and our daughter aged 2 1/2.

We're on a budget and are having our reception at the local rugby club. It's cheap (£150 for hire), and there's loads of space inside and out. We're having a bouncy castle (must book it!!) for the kids as there's lots of them!! I got my dress half price in a sample sale, and also picked up my daughters flower girl dress in the same sale for £30 reduced from £95 - bargain. Umm what else - pick what's important to you and spend the money on that!

Yup, just yesterday we booked our venue, photographer, and band! It's all starting to come together!

So tell us a little more about yourself- how did H2B propose? What's your course at uni that starts in 2010? I'm a nosey bugger, lol!

Well my bf and i have been 2gether 3 years .. we met in dec 2005 when i was a single mum of my 2 eldest ( who are now 4 and 3 - shes 4 on monday )

We clicked straight away , had 2 more baby girls My eldest 2 call him Daddy as there bio Dad wasnt around and has only just decided to want to come back into there lifes , well trying to anyway .. he facebooked me on 30th Dec last year lol .. asking to see them , i was like after almost 5 years NO WAY !! Although , he wouldnt listen and now we are in a battle Mediation at the moment , and if we dont come to agreement ( which he is no way having conctact ) it will go to court .. but i haev good reasons to why i dont want him in the girls lifes xx

ANYWAY mooooooving on : My Fiance is called Anthony .. Hes 23 and totally awesome , we broke up for a month , but got back together on xmas day last year ... We stronger now ..

On the 16th Jan he took me to my fave Indian resturant and pulled out a box ... inside was a lush neckelace ( silver with a pink heart .. beautiful ) .... and then about half an hour later he gave me one of those 20p egg things you get in those machines ? And inside was my ring , and he said 'will you marry me babe' .....

We started planning the next day

I am going back to college to study midwify and then to Uni the following year My wedding year heheeeee xxxx
