My partner and I are planning on eloping in New York in November this year , we are going alone without my children but having a cermony with them and a party when we are back! My question is does anyone know if we have to notify the U.K. government /registry when we get back that we are married or will that already know? Do New York City hall just send over all our details of our marriage to the U.K.?
