New York themed table name cards - HELP :)

Happy Friday all Smiley smile

I am having New York themed table names i.e Statue of Liberty, Central Park etc etc.

I am the most uncreative person EVER and I am really struggling to come up with an idea for my table cards. I have looked online and came across some really nice ones but they are VERY expensive and I dont see the point spending hundreds of pounds for a piece of card.

Has anyone got some funky ideas that I could 'try' do myself on the cheap??

    Could you get maps of New York online and have that as the backing (in black and white maybe) and then have the name of the Landback either in bold or your theme colour? The maps could all be of the area you're mentioning too.

    Can you get New York postcards with the usually touristy places on them to use ?

    Or, you could print your own using good card stock, either at home or at kinkos. You should be able to google NYC post cards and come up with quite a few good ones!
