Next DIY project - map table plan

It all clicked in to place (thanks to a little help from Pinterest), our table names are cities we've visited as a couple so we've decided to use a vintage map as a table plan.

Just ordered this lovely map from ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-Retro-World-Map-Antique-Poster-Wall-Chart-Home-Decoration-28-x-18-/350983006169?pt=UK_Art_Photographs_RL&hash=item51b837a7d9

Currently swimming in luggage tags so should have more than enough!!

    Ah these are so cool! I am also making a map table plan. Ours is of the town we live in, and the tables are names after key buildings in that town.

    My printed map got delivered this week to work, so need to get it home on a night that it's not raining, and then I can start adding the tags and string! Happy crafting to you! x

    Having a very productive day at work (in terms of wedmin) so have mocked these up for the table names on the actual table. Have ordered a second map that these will be backed on to to go on to the stand in the centre pieces. Going to try and be crafty and minimise the size to print on to the luggage tags. I'm struggling to get the right pink but getting there. Hopefully the fonts match the place names in everyone else's imagination.
