Is it this one?

I had a feeling it was more complicated than that, but perhaps I just remember her flouncing about in the kitchen for hours instead. is it any good? If it's 'just' a citrus cake with clemantines, I'm tempted to tinker with Nigel Slater's lemon cake recipe instead

It's lush. Much more so than the ingredients would suggest.

Marvellous. That's tmw sorted then. A stroll in the woods and a cake. It'll have to be some kind of fantastic though to beat Nige.

Huh, well I'm less than impressed. it tasted burnt. Mostly because Mr F didn't check on the clemantines as I'd asked, and then set the oven at 220 instead of 190c.

Still even bad cake is cake, and I'll just have to make more cake later in teh week.

I made this cake today - the house smelt lovely...my only concern so far is that although the skewer came out clean after an hour the cake now it is cut is very wet ...is this normal. (It is however totally yummy!!)
