Night Nurse

I had the tablet form the other night due to a, horrendous cold and b, only 5 hours sleep the previous two nights for no fathomable reason. I slept like a baby... twas great. I had already said if it didn't work I was necking the girl's bottle of medised.

I love night nurse (I'm not addicted, honest!). The liquid is best as you can feel it running through your veins like a general anaesthetic. It's the only good thing about being ill ?

Whoop. Now I'm really excited. ?

Knocked me right out the first night I took it, dude. Don't take it too early though, you'll miss the X Factor ?

I feel like ***. House looked like *** so I spent 20 minutes have a quick tidy up. The bloke comes downstairs I say 'did you notice I've had a quick tidy up?' He says he's noticed I've just chucked things away. I ask what he means and he said well you've just chucked the the crisp packet that's been on the arm of the chair all day. Either there's two digs there or the cold is making me super sensitive. Needless to say I'm now pissed off. I emptied the bins, put the cards up that he'd opened and left on the stairs, filled the dishwasher and put it on, cleaned the kitchen work surfaces and sink and tidied the living room. It's more than he's fecking done all day.

Yes, I do realise how petty I am.

As for getting high....not on Night Nurse, dude, you'll just go to sleep ?

I love the stuff and use it loads. It's the thing I've most in pregnancy - I can do without the alcohol, cheeses etc, but no night nurse and I'm really struggling.

I'd never even considered night nurse until hearing about it on here. Is it like grown up's medised then?

I would say it was like a grown up medised, tastes foul but well worth the sleep!

Dunno what medised is but night nurse is decongestant + paracetamol (I think?) with extra drowsiness. Absolutely fab stuff, cold or not - it always helps me sleep like a baby.

I give MissSun Medised when she's got a cold, it helps her breathe easier and knocks her out helps her get a decent sleep.

Ha! sounds like the same stuff. For extra points I take night nurse with hot whiskey and cloves. Also excellent for jetlag. Mmmmmm..

Night Nurse kicks arse. I only discovered it on Tuesday (after a thread on here) I'm a complete convert, I don't "need" it now, but I need it! I've even started recommending (read pushing) it to other people.

It's excellent stuff, I take it whenever I have a cold and also whenever I'm on a night flight to knock me out so I can sleep when I fly.
