No contact from supplier

Hi all. Just a query about a supplier. We discussed and agreed prices back in September and I paid the deposit as requested via bank transfer. I have had no acknowledgement of receipt of deposit and no contact either. I've tried messaging through the Hitched app, email, messaging through their website contact sheet, private messaged on Facebook and Instagram with no response. Do I just cut my losses and try and get someone else? Wedding is in May. They genuinely seem like a legitimate business but who can tell these days. Thanks in advance of any advice.

    What was it for - are they posting on any social media. Do they have a website with an email address. Also have a look on a facebook page called wedding scammers dont let them win and do a search for their name.

    Hi, thanks for your response. Last Post on FB was 2nd January. There is a website with a contact page that I have messaged and that says they will reply in 24 to 48 hours. I sent that on Monday. I'll have a look at that page - thanks for your advice.

    Hmmm - you are doing all you can and they do not have the usual "dodgy" feel about them. Apart from the complete ghosting. Do you have a contract.

    This time of year is not very busy so they may not have much to post on social media.
