Non Flower Table Centrepieces- please flash!

Ooooh, long way off for me but still looking around for them and have a few good ideas -

Cupcakes arranged on a cakestand (double up for desert?)

Glass jars (jam/sauce ect) with either a few flowers or maybe floating candles

Three picture frames glued together to make a triangle (bare with me on this) and pictures of you and your partner in. Leave the board off at the back and place a flameless candle in the middle... like below

Can't flash as on iPad but we are having tall vases with purple ostrich feathers, hired them for £15 each

If I remember rightly, Mrs C had non-floral centrepieces. If you search for her in the forum search option, she has a link to her report and flashes in her sig.

That picture frame idea is great. They look so good. I think I am sorted(ish) with mine, but if I wasn't, I'd totally do this!

I'm having a silver tin pot with a purple plant like a viola or something and then Having purple votive candles around it! The plants are only working out about £2 and the tins are from ikea and are very cheap! I like the idea of being able to give people I want a plant after instead of having lots of flowers which are just going to die! Just seems such a waste to me! X

And I thought my iPad misspellings etc were bad!

I like the idea of plants or candlebras, at least I can give them away to people at the end of the night. I like plants but 20 might be overkill!

We r having bowls full of sweets on a mirror with 4 candles, haven't got a picture yet but it's all from ikea and we r getting the sweets on line

These are ours, not especially cheap at £17.50 for the candelabra plus mirror plate and candles, but at least we can see them on afterwards

I don't think you have to put any flowers on the table, you can also find some other details in it, like cards, candles and so on, you can always find something that don't need to cost a lot

Just a few ideas for you, not sure if you have a theme or colour scheme etc.

Mine are twigs in vases...vases were £7 each from Sainsburys....twigs free from the woods!

This is ours but in addition to the crystals we are having pearls too.
