In an attempt to keep the budget down, we're looking at just doing the registry office bit. However, half the offices nearby don't have interior pictures on their websites - and if they do, they're all tiny (hello magnifying glass!). Has anyone been married or been to a wedding in any of the...

Has anyone been married or been to a wedding in any of the following registry offices?

Birkenhead Town Hall
Wallasey Town Hall
Wrexham
St Georges Hall (Liverpool)
South Sefton (Bootle / Crosby)
North Sefton (Southport)

Are they nice? What are the staff like? Has it been decorated in the last 30 years?

Perhaps I'm sounding a little snobbish, but I need to feel comfortable where we marry.
