Not enough people to invite to the wedding...

Sammy, 30 December, 2023 at 12:46 Posted on Planning 0

Hi, this is a bit of a strange one but we don't have enough people to invite to our wedding. Our reception is in a village hall and the coordinator there said we'd need at least 54 people for our wedding breakfast or the room will look empty. I barely have any family and I don't have a lot of friends (I cut a lot of fake friends out and now I just have a few genuine ones left), my fiancé is inviting his extended family on his mum's side (the only side he has anything to do with) but that still means we are short by about 6. And that's if everyone who is invited can make it. It's been kind of stressing me out as I don't want our wedding to look sparse but I don't want to start inviting people like co-workers who I'd have nothing to do with if it wasn't for the fact we worked together, just to make up numbers.
