Not many friends!

Happyyellowcakes15704, 6 of February of 2021 at 11:00 Posted on Planning 0 2
So I'm doing the guest list and already I've noticed my fiance has more friends on his side. I've moved around a lot so have friends in all parts of uk which will mean it'll be a longer drive than his friends. On top of that a lot of my friends have become pregnant and are due around the wedding which means they most likely won't be able to do the 4hour drive. His friends can all attend. Don't want to look like I've got no friends. Any advice?

Simple. Just get people to sit wherever for the ceremony instead of having designated sides for the bride and groom. I've been to a few weddings like this, usually where one partner is from another country so has limited number of guests able to fly in.

I'm not a great fan of 'sides' at a wedding anyway - the whole point is the two of you becoming one family, so it seems a bit daft to split the guests up into 'his' and 'hers' anyway!
