I have given notice today. Do they do any checks to see if previously married. I gave my documents, marriage certificate and death certificate.
But do they check up on previous marriages. Thanks

They normally just need to know if your name has ever changed and if you have been married before they will just need proof that the last marriage has officially been dissolved (Decree absolute). hope that helps.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. My husband died before the divorce properly started.
So took death certificate. I've been married before that and wondered if they need to know that?
