I'm glad you posted this as we are giving our notice on 22nd February and I am nervous about it as it all seemed so formal when they mentioned interviews.

HI, I was really nervous as well and it was all fine -although I never know exactly what it is my OH does and we had been joking about that in the car on the way and then I got all in a fluster when they asked what he does!

What's a notice of marriage?

I'm getting married & I havnt heard of this, unless its a term known as something else I'm my area

I work overseas and we're giving ours in February when I'm back! I'm so excited as it will make it all official!! )))) x

This is the legal aspect of your marriage and can be done any time in the 12 months preceeding your wedding. You and your OH must give your notice of intention of marriage at the registry office of your local district. We live in different counties so have to attend seperate registry offices. They will then notify the district in which you have booked your wedding x

What did they ask you??

My friend is getting married in a church and was wondering if she will still have to give notice of marriage or is it the same as having your banns read?
