Hello


Recently got engaged (boyfriend of 18 years!)
Don't know where to start or even how to plan a wedding!
Any recommendations for venues in nottinghamshire area, 1 venue where we can have the ceremony and evening do and stay over. Around 60 guests in the day and 100 total at night
Thanks in advance (never ever wrote in a forum before!)

    I'm in the Notts area - having a registry office and then a reception elsewhere to save on costs, but I did see some lovely venues.

    Swancar is really beautiful and has onsite accommodation.

    Bestwood Lodge is lovely if you wanted a hotel venue.

    I'd also second the recommendation for Donington Park - it was my first choice but my OH felt it was a bit too "pub like" lol.

    Hi there. Just across the M1 is the lovely quaint town of Ilkeston - famous for its Nat West Hole and the Gnome Roundabout. I would like to suggest that you take a look at the 'Stute and see if they can accommodate you.
