I'm in the Notts area - having a registry office and then a reception elsewhere to save on costs, but I did see some lovely venues.

Swancar is really beautiful and has onsite accommodation.

Bestwood Lodge is lovely if you wanted a hotel venue.

I'd also second the recommendation for Donington Park - it was my first choice but my OH felt it was a bit too "pub like" lol.

For Nottinghamshire, there are some really nice venues that let you have everything in one place – ceremony, reception, and even overnight stays. It definitely makes things simpler when you don’t have to move guests around. We found places like Goosedale ticked those boxes, with flexible spaces for around your numbers.

I’d suggest shortlisting a few that fit your guest size and then going for viewings – once you walk around, you quickly know which feels right. And honestly, once you’ve got the venue sorted, the rest of the planning gets much easier!
