Nut allergy and wedding cakes

I didn't think it would be so difficult to find a nut free wedding cake. A lot of refusals and some happy to make a cake which is great. Any other brides with a nut allergy? How did you find the process etc?

    Yep, it is a bit of a painful path, trying to find someone to do it. If you use someone who makes normal cakes you run the risk of contamination with nuts or gluten, etc and not many bakers will guarantee a free from zone.
