Occupation on marriage cert..

Hi!

We are getting married in May next year and giving notice in October. I work for the NHS as an admin role but I’m doing a degree with the Open University. Can I put down that I am a student as my occupation when giving notice?

Check with your registrar but if you have more than one occupation, I'm pretty sure it's up to you which one you put down. My OH has two different jobs and the one which is most important to him is the one that went down on the marriage certificate. My recollection is that the registrar said he could pick whichever one of the two he wanted.
