Yeah I've been collecting jars for the tables and need to decorate with hessian, string etc. The venue itself doesn't need anything doing it which is good! The plan is to dot the jars around the venue and tables, and put candles and flowers in them. Hopefully it'll look nice ok the day!

LeighB3 - What a coincidence - not only are we date twins - I'm also getting married on the 10th, but I too have family travelling over from South Africa :-) Where in S. Africa are your family from?

Lui - loved the flash - everything looks fab. I feel I should do a flash sometime soon as getting into the less than 4 months zone soon.

Not much progress wedding-wise here the last week or so. Invitations are at the printers so should have those later this week. Ordered my OH's present this week - a replica Rolex (sadly can't afford the real thing) and some Rayban sunglasses. The book of wedding wishes is coming along well too - most recent replies from Stephen Fry, Philip Glenister and Rob Brydon - have had about 60% back now. Have also been gathering messages on twitter which is going well :-)

Well the whole breaking my wrist thing wasn't actually my fault, there was a bunch of silly teenagers mucking about (yes I know I sound old!) and one of them cut across me and clipped the front of my skates. I fell over sideways (very ungraciously) and ended up putting all my weight on my arm to try and stop myself hitting my head. So yeah, so ice skating for me till after the wedding! Having said that, I managed to fall UP the stairs last night so I reckon there'll be some form of break/sprain/twist going on at the wedding ?
Aw hunni I totally understand where your coming from regarding the weekends, there was no drama queen moment ? I think it's a good idea to leave yourself with some weekends that are your time only, you will burn yourself out otherwise. I get why you don't want to say anything to your OH though if it's all his family & friends that are visiting. If I can help at all just say the word ?

You have no idea how fast my niece is! It's like she knows I'm fat and out of shape the little wotsit!! in terms of progress, I think it is all coming along nicely. I have made a mock up of the order is service but I am struggling with what to make the card cover cover with. I had started with an A5 booklet but then I also tried a 1/2 of A5 booklet which I thought was rather cute and could fit in most pockets and clutch bags. I am now planning on not having an order of the day but have a few pages at the back of the order of service with one page having what the plan is for the rest of the day, another with a list of wedding party names and a a thank you note at the back. I will flash all of this later on.

My dress should arrive at the shop anytime from today, I can't wait for the first fitting. I will try and take a pic for a flash but I am not allowed to take pics in the shop but I will try to take a sneaky one.

i have received back a few RSVPs by text, Facebook and email. I am pleased with that even if a few have replied with RSVP cards which I was trying not to have but at least it is a reply in time none the less.

Sorry been super busy with training and covering people today so thought I would catch up with everyone on my lunch.

LMP – Oh god penalty exercise sounds horrid haha! I already went for a run yesterday and did sit ups and doing the same tonight, even turned down a free meal tonight with work to do this. Something is really wrong, really getting on it now haha! ?

Ah yes all the people do! Its always good to come out with half the pool in your stomach haha! Booo to the teenagers that were being annoying and caused you to fall. Haha I’m so glad I live in an apartment because I would be falling up and down the stairs as I’m like bambi on ice hahah. I’m so accident prone. This morning, in trying to get out my car too quickly i managed to hit my head off my car which lead to an even worse head ache then I had. What was annoying is that I was going to the shop for pain killers for the headache I had! Haha!

Lui it's definitely a good idea to have some free weekends, can get very stressful if you don't! Oh works shifts 8-8, gets in about 8.30 then needs to do to bed at 10! He has some weekends off but this month he's working two weekends then the other two he has his friends stag (going to butlins for 3 nights), then the weekend after that is his own stag (4 nights in Copenhagen). It doesn't help that he's got something on every night this week so feel like I'm not seeing him at all at the moment. Still have some nice things planned with friends while he's away.

Yea I’ve blanked 2 out, one in July (end of) and one in September (start off) I also have one day of holiday left which I’m going to search and use on a day where I can just chill out and not worry.

Oh thats such a shame that you cant spend time with him that much but just think once June is over and the stags you will get more time with him. Its really hard I know but things will be better soon! Big hugs lovely!

Would it work if you made a list of what you have left to do, and allocate days to do those bits? I found that really helpful as I knew what I'd being done and could see that there was time for it all.
My niece is too clever for her own good, she can work Netflix and my iPad! I try to hide it when she comes over as I don't think it's good for her to be sat down with that all the time, I like her to be outside playing

I wish I could sit back and not do anything, tonight I’m off out on a 10 mile bike ride. Then that’s it until Sunday and then I’m off out.

If it did help I did have pizza for dinner. Nom nom nom! I did also have the hot chocolate and some light whipped cream and the caramel one is my fave! It was so tasty! It is kicking my sweet tooth which helps as even my OH tried to tempt me with magic stars and I even turned them down.

Nieces are like that haha! Mines turning 18 this year, god i am not ready for that! Haha!

How did your bike ride go last night?
Yup I can't ride a bike. I had so many ear infections when I was a kid that I ended up with really bad scarring so my balance is totally whack. Plus I have scotopic sensitivity syndrome with means my depth perception is rubbish so I'm always walking/running into things ... not a good idea on a bike!

im wearing tights but I have like special ones that are made for open toe shoes, this is mainly due to the dreaded chub rub! I've got thick thighs and no matter what I do they rub!
