Although we are a tad chatty, when myself and LMP get going when its quiet we really get going!

I know what you mean as I’m only here on my lunch today as its meetings everywhere (unless they get cancelled – fingers crossed haha).

Ah I know see the position you are in. It’s hard to be firm when someone’s doing you a massive favour. I got like that with our wedding cake as FIL2B is doing it but didn’t mention anything for ages so had to get OH to chase him about it. Pain in the bum but you do feel bad for asking.

God i wish i had all of them back but no, on my list i have about 2/3 back however OH on his list has about ¼ back. I think everyone is just a bit lazy and we will have to chase them all haha.

I know exactly what you mean! 3 of my lovely nails broke today Smiley sad

I've never had acrylics before, and I have really little hands. So I wonder if they will look stupid on me.

My nails are often stronger if I have gel polish on them, so maybe I'll wear it in the weeks running up to it.

I might still have gel nails (with a design) on the big day itself. I might find a good nail technician and have a chat with her, and see what she says.

    Welcome Vintage Vixen Immy!

Your mine and AnnaMollys date twin as we are both getting married on Halloween too! Not long now!

    How is your planning going?

So ladies remember the Mr and Mrs sign I purchased. It arrived! Bloody love it! Just need to paint it and get fairy lights for it. Here's a little flash I took:

Hello my lovelies, I'm back! ?
    Cue dodgy AC/DC singing...
I shall try my best to catch up now

Cat D - I'm having a civil ceremony but my wedding day involves 3 different locations so I'm probably going to have some little Order Of Day pages printed out as a board wouldn't really work. My cousin had one at her civil ceremony though and it was lovely Smiley smile

Happy Polly - Love your OOS, the picture on the front is really nice. It's good that you spotted the spelling mistakes now though!
I may have taken trying to look tanned a bit too far =/ I fell asleep by the pool on holiday and am currently a brilliant shade of lobster. I'm so burnt I can only wear a strapless bra and even that hurts!
I won't lie I'm jealous that you have such a lovely colour, even if your OH will have to fake tan ?

misslynx - I think having your Bm & ushers in different shades of grey will look rather nice in photos, and its good that you want people to be comfy.
With regards to invites I think that's perfectly normal. I had a few responses all within a few days of each other, then heard nothing from anybody for about a month! Am 2 replies away now from knowing all the day guests, and have had probably 60% of evening guests replies.
How did your hair and make-up trial go? I'm having falsies, I Smiley heart them!
Hope you found a jacket/bolero today...
Sorry to hear your partners original choice for a best man won't do it, but it's good that his other friend is willing to step into the role Smiley smile

MrsWatkinsToBe - Your invites are fab Smiley smile

Stephied9384 - Sorry to hear that you haven't got your invites yet, hopefully you'll get them soon Smiley smile

TheFutureMrsKay - So pleased to hear you got yourself a new job, hope its going well for you. Yay for no more night shifts!
Sounds like you've been busy getting bits done, must admit I cheated with my bridal party champagne glasses and bought them ... will you flash some of the bits you've made?
That's great that your food and wine is fabulous, what are you having?
With regards to your aunt, as much as you probably want to say something, I would personally try to let it go. Might be more hassle than its worth otherwise...
Hope the vow writing is coming along ok Smiley smile
With regards to nails, I've been having acrylics done for roughly 7 years but my real nails haven't been damaged at all. I've found that their impossible to break (!) and I always like how my nail lady does them, plus pretty patterns ?

Vintage Vixen Immy - hi and welcome Smiley smile
Look forward to comparing lots of notes with you, you have a few date twins as well!

    Lui - ?
    How's everything going??
That's really nice that your arty friend is going to paint all your centrepieces for you, I think payment in processco and chocolates is totally acceptable.
Eek can't believe your hen do is so close now!
Love the Mr & Mrs sign ?

PS - would anyone like to see a flash from my most recent make-up trial ... xxx

Sorry been AWOL this last week or so, tried to have a bit of a break from wedding planning but don't thinks it's really working at this late stage! lol I got oh's pocket watch from ebay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301459389228?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT#ht_2321wt_781. It looks even nicer irl and comes with free engraving, the same sellers has other designs as well.

We had our engagement shoot on Wednesday which was great fun even though I was dreading it slightly, I just can't wait for the photo's now! Found out my hair and makeup lady also does beauty treatments so she's going to come to the hotel the night before the wedding and do mani and pedi's for us so that's another tick off the list!

Lui - Love the Mr and Mrs sign, it's going to look fab!

LMP - You're such a tease of course we want to see 😃

    Hi lovely!!!

How was your tall OH with the caravan? Did he cope well?!

Thanks lovely, it’s not massively talk, about 10cm max height wise but it’s worth it! Plus I don’t think you need it massive on the top table right! Take away from our lovely faces hahaha!

I’m good thanks lovely! Did want to paint a few things this weekend but weather was terrible, so hopefully planning to get some done on Wednesday when i head to my parents! How can i spray paint when its all rainy outside haha!

I think procescco and chocolates/flowers is always the best move!

I would love to see your make up trial! Me please, me, me ,me!!

Bliss – so glad you enjoyed your photoshoot!! Bonus on your lady doing your nails the night before! Its slowly coming together for you! Not long, in like a week’s time you can say you’re getting married next month!! EEEP!

bliss - ooh pleased to hear your engagement shoot went well, hope you had nice weather for it Smiley smile
Bonus that your hair & make-up lady does beauty treatments definitely have a pamper the night before the wedding...

    Lui - hiya ?
Holiday was lovely thank you & the weather was amazing, we were so lucky. We're coping ok with the sunburn but it's still quite painful and naturally it's OH's fault!
OH coped quite well this year as we got 'upgraded'! Wasn't anything fancy, but it was a bigger caravan with a more room so it was better for the lanky one!
Definitely not need the letters to be any higher, wouldn't want to hide the lovely couple after all Smiley smile
Ah spray paint at the parents house they can help that way hehe

? have to keep you ladies on your toes!
Here you go, pics from my make-up trial last Saturday...

(Forgive the freaky grin, I was V-E-R-Y happy with the results and almost cried!)

And here's how it looked 10 hours later, after partying hard...

I'm so much happier with the make-up now, and the lady was fantastic!
She listened to what I wanted and really got what I was saying. I think the problem before probably was me not knowing how to explain the look I wanted...

LMP you look flipping gorgeous lady!!! Wow and it lasted so well!

Can't wait for my trial. Just emailed my MUA to arrange something. Hoping she's going to work miracles!

Just returned from my hols and had a few more RSVPs. It's freaking me out a but actually. Kind of making it real, and the realisation we have to feed all these people, ha!

LMP- wow! You look great Smiley smile and it lasted so well. I can't wait to have my trial now Smiley laugh

I'm glad you had a wonderful holiday. They can work wonders when life has been getting you down Smiley smile

We've decided on tomato soup with basil crème fraiche (I don't like tomato soup, but it was so good that I loved this one). Roasted chicken breast with Yorkshire pudding, roasted vegetables and potatoes. And white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake with mango coulis. Yum Smiley laugh The food might end up being the best part of the wedding, haha.

Since you asked so nicely (and because we Hitchers love to flash), I will flash a few little bits I've made.

One of the Thorntons themed table names

    MOH hanger

Sparkler tags (with holes for sparklers to go through)

MOH wine glass (it's not as fancy as some, but I'm nowhere close to being a creative genius)

I didn't make this. But, as a fellow foodie, I wanted to share my dessert. As we're not allowed to eat bad things such as this now, I thought maybe we should just look at it instead, and that might help.

Sorry if they're all really big/sideways.

The next task is something that I'm doing with my mum. Our venue has a couple of small rooms that come off of the main room that we can use. So we have decided to use one as a dress up/picture room (we've got loads of props, inflatables, tutus, wigs, head boppers, etc.), as well as selfie sticks and an old digital camera on a tripod. The room is a little boring, so I wanted to make a photo corner with a cool backdrop for taking photos. Alas, hiring them is hugely expensive. No fear, mother to the rescue, who says that we can cheaply make nice organza backdrops and sew fairy lights behind it for a nice effect and use Velcro to hang them up. So that is the next project!

Has anyone else been making anything?

LMP – Glad you had a good time! So jealous that you had the weather, it’s been sunny in the week and when I’m not at work, raining, typical hey!

Glad OH could move, i did imagine him having army crawl everywhere. Hehe. Poor guy!!

I’m making SIL to help as we are sorting out stuff for my dad’s retirement party!

Your make up trial is so lovely! I’m glad your happier with it this time and the purple is lovely! Which one did you go for in the end? Also did she eyeline your eye correctly? You look so happy with it!! EEP!

AnnaMolly – I know right, it’s not something you think about until you actually have to!!

TheFutureMrsKay - Everything looks awesome! The glass is amazing, did you make it yourself? I know LMP have some too and they are so lovely!!

OMG I want to eat your pudding!! I really need to keep off the sweets, my sweet tooth has really kicked in recently. The hot chocolate helps but its not kicking it! Anyone have any ideas what to do?

Awww yey for your mum coming up with an awesome idea for a back drop!! I bet it will look lovely!!

    Morning everyone ?
Thank you all for the compliments, I was SO much happier with it this time. I think it was the fact that the MUA actually knew what I wanted this time, my MOH & friend had a few pictures of what they thought I was on about and they explained how I usually look as well.
(I'm rubbish with all things make-up related and can't tell an eyebrow pencil from an eye liner!)
I'd had my fake tan done a few days before and was totally in love with that as well, didn't go orange at all but had a nice healthy glow. Also had my false eyelashes done the day before, have had them previously and they last 2 weeks so didn't have to worry about mascara whilst I was away ?

Anna Molly - Your MUA won't need to work miracles, don't be silly! I'm sure you'll have a great time though ?
The RSVP's do make it all seem suddenly really don't they? OH & I were freaking out that we might have not invited enough people, but we know we can't afford to feed any more ?

TheFutureMrsKay - hope you enjoy your trial too ?
The holiday did definitely do us the world of good, we barely spoke about the wedding and just spent time nattering about all the silly stuff in the world!
Ooh your food sounds lush ... do you have room for a not so little one?? ?
Your flashes are amazing! Very jealous that you've made all those bits yourself, particularly like the wine glass and sparkler tags.
I so want that dessert now, not far ☹️
Love the idea of a picture/dress up room it sounds like great fun and your mums idea to make a backdrop sounds like a great solution.

I'm currently regretting my decision to make my own wall drapes ?
At my evening venue there's a small square room that leads from the main hall to the outside terrace, and it's not exactly pretty.
I'm rubbish at explaining things so I drew a digram ... (yes I'm bored!)

So my plan is to make two wall drapes, using 2 different materials...
I have a backing material and a nice material with white spots on to go over the top (gotta love Ikea!)
    http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/51725112/
    http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/20256151/

So for each side I have to make 9m by 4.5m drapes!!
Which means hemming the backing material, and stitching the nicer material to it. Then working out how to attach it to a dowling rod, which will then rest on the brackets ... why did I chose to DIY?!

Lui - Aw its so typical that it only rains when we've finished work! If it makes you feel any better that's exactly what I've come home to ?
I didn't end up taking my own eyeshadow my MOH said it would be best to see what the MUA had. She apparently used different shades of silvers, which I loved. I also asked her if I could do my own eyeliner which she said was fine as I'm obviously picky with it.
I know I'm grinning like a loon but it's such a relief! The salon offered me such a good deal and I really didn't want to have to look anywhere else...
Your planning your dad's retirement party as well? You must be wonderwomen ?

Well I had good and bad this weekend I think….

The dress – finally got a shawl that goes with the dress. It is better than the bolero I wanted. It is just… wow. :-D

The other issue I had was with make up – I wanted to ask all of you who have had a trial for advice please?

I sweat profusely as I am overweight and will definitely do so in a wedding dress. I told my MUA this, and I ended up with make up that looked fantastic from a distance away but really cakey up close! Is this normal? I only wear minimal make up usually, so I can’t remember.

I didn’t come out feeling the best :-/

It looks like it would be great on photos but scary if someone gave me a hug! Advice appreciated!

(Ps. Tried falsies. Hate them. My lashes are long anyway so going natural!)

LMP – Jealous! Would like advice about how you turned your make up around though.

Lui – my shoes aren’t exciting – just flat ivory satin ones. I need comfort and no one will see them under the dress :-D Have you got any further on the vows?

Stephied9384 – Let your friend know that the invites are holding up the rest of your plans. Chances are she doesn’t realise this so isn’t prioritizing them! Although it is lovely that they are a gift, they wouldn’t be any use if too late!

Vintage Vixen Immy – welcome to the board! Xxx

Bliss_balloons – thanks for the link! I will look at ordering when I have some more wedding money to play with!

Will do a flash of dress in full now plus flashes of make up for advice!

    Morning LMP

Loved your little plan!! Do you have a sewing machine? I feel the drapes would be easier to do if you had one? If not maybe take it to a seamstress maybe they can do that? Hahaha maybe I can offer my mum’s services because we all know she is way better than me at stuff like this haha!

It’s always rains when I’m off at the weekend; I get jealous of the days in the week hahaha! I’m not meant to have a nice rain free weekend lol!

Ah that’s good regarding your eyeliner! It’s better to be picky and happy then unhappy with what someone else is doing and not voicing it. The shade is a lovely shade, compliments the tan! Also the tan is very subtle but nice! Not overpowering at all! So happy its worked out and they gave you a good deal! ?

I’m helping my mum do it, so this weekend involves a lot of cooking. I really don’t know how I’m going to get things done! I don’t feel like wonder woman! I feel like a lady with less time to do anything!?

Misslynx – Your shoes sound lovely though! Comfort is always the best way to go! I know how you feel regarding comfort! I’m always in flats over heals! Can’t really have big heels on the day anyway as OH is the same height as me and normally I tower over him in heels.

I used to sweat loads, I used a primer and 3 different types of foundation/concealer. So I would put a primer on, first a concealer that would cover up circles ect. Then I would use a liquid foundation and a foundation mouse then finally finish with a powder. Here’s a photo of me closest to my largest and in a sweaty club on top of me sweating loads and my makeup is still ok. I think applying it with a sponge and then a brush with the powder helped. However I do think it does come down to how your skin it. Not sure if that helps but close up it doesn’t look cakey.I do use matte and clear stuff.

Although looking at your photos it doesn’t look that cakey to me. Maybe it was the product that was used?

Your wrap looks stunning and fits perfectly with the dress. ?

    Hi miss lynx ?

Firstly, wow your dress looks amazing! The shawl looks lovely with it as well.

I personally think your make-up looks fantastic and from the pics its definitely not cakey...
It could be that because its so different to what your used to you think it looks like too much?

I have a similar problem with make-up, I tend to end up with a shiny forehand after a while. I use Maybelline matte mousse with a bit of Rimmel powder over the top every day and that works for me.
I know my MUA used Maybelline matte mousse as well and some Bare Minerals products also.
Could you maybe ask your MUA to try a few different looks, and use some different products?
I ended up fibbing a bit it my MUA and said I loved the first look she created but wanted to try out some others so I could compare.

Sorry to hear you didn't get on with falsies, which ones did you try?
I don't get on with strip lashes (the ones that last a day) but I do get on with Blink N Go lashes :-)

    Morning Lui ?

I don't have a sewing machine, and according to the very grumpy Ikea person the netty material would get ruined if I used one. I have cheated a bit and bought a load of wonder web, my plan is to hem the backing material using that. Once that's done I can then tuck a bit of the other material over the top and stitch the two together, so they'll be the same length again...
That's the plan, whether it works is another matter!!
I may yet be crying for Mummy Lui to come help me ?

Aw hopefully there'll be a rain free weekend soon, it can't rain all the time.

My MUA actually admitted that she would be happier if I did my own eyeliner, she doesn't like drawing it on people's waterlines which I totally get. So yeah very happy that I get to do that bit myself, and my falsies mean I can cry away and not ruin my mascara haha!
Thanks for complimenting the tan ... it looks a lot better than I look right now ?

Well I know I'm a gazillion miles away but if I can help, just say the word

    xxx

    Hi,

Lui - it seems like my MUA did a similar thing to you! She did use a primer and something to control grease etc. I went on a fast walk afterwards and sweated but the make up didn't move. She did layer it well but I think it scared me! Lol!

LMP - She used (and only uses) MAC which I haven't used before but it should be ok? She did mention bare minerals as an option too.... I am thinking of going to a few make up counters and trying out different looks...

Part of me thinks I am just now older (40) and when I wore heavy make up I was 22. Maybe my face has just changed/skin is naturally more grey?

Bought Olay last night and started to moisturise twice daily! hahaha!

I tried the strip lashes. Because my own lashes are very long and curly anyway, the MUA said that the individual ones would actually not match my own well.

I just didn't like something on my eyes - they are sensitive and I think the glue was aggrevating them!

PS.. Thank you for the dress comments! It is the first time I think that I have truly felt priceless in an outfit - the 'one' definitely makes a difference! :-D

Ahh I did forget the wonderful world of wonder web. The person who invented this thing needs a gold star! Such a wonderful thing!

Hopefully this works for you! I guess if you use a massive table and lay them on top of each other you could measure, cut out and add the wonder web almost at the same time. Maybe thats possible haha!

Mummy Lui is so wonderful with stuff like this, god knows where she got the skill from. This is not a skull that was passed on to me. Clearly took my talents from pappy Lui hahaha!

    Eric!?

(haha sorry, it always makes me think of that scene when anyone ever says it!)

That makes sense, I would be the same, don’t fancy stabbing someone in the eye or even being close to that.

Yey to being able to sob! Woooo! I’ve decided that I’m also going to put tissues on mine, my mums and MIL2B seats so that they can use them during speeches or anything. Which reminds me I need to buy some more tissues haha!

The tan is lovely1 haha! Are you a bit zoidberg now? Hehe! Well hopefully it fades into a lovely tan on top of the tan!?

Thanks lovely1 I just have to suck it up and start doing things in the week day now. A lot of it is just spray painting and with the weather how it is, it’s really delaying things. Plus the name places, but have to wait for people to RSPV!

Seriously can people hurry up and RSPV! Hahaha!?

Good afternoon you lovely lot Smiley smile

LMP - your make up looks stunning! So fresh, natural and pretty, I love it! Your drapes sound like such a pain! I decided to DIY some jars with leaves glued to them, candles inside etc. I did one and haven't gone back yet ha ha

Future Mrs Kay - I could use your help with the DIY I think! Your bits and pieces look fab - the dessert looks amazing ? ! I want cake now!

Lui - you are superwoman, I thought I was organised until I came on here ha ha! My sweet tooth is playing up massively at the minute as well. For the past few months I've been basing what I eat on the Paleo approach, i.e. if a caveman could eat it, so can I! Cavemen didn't eat chocolate, so I'm missing it loads at the mo! 90% dark chocolate is my treat, chocolate protein shakes, chocolate protein bars, anyway I can get that chocolatey goodness I will do ha ha!

Miss Lynx - what a beautiful dress! Stunning, your shawl compliments it perfectly ? I can't help on the make up front I'm afraid, I'm not very knowledgeable on products or techniques, but as the other ladies have said, I think your pics look fine?

In other news....wait for it.....my invites are done! Hurrah!! She's getting them to me by end of the week, so looking like Sunday will be invitation day ha ha! Here's what they look like...

In the pocket there are a few of those little information cards with different details on. Funny how they match my mate's kitchen perfectly as well! ? perfect and simple, just what I wanted.

Stephied – Those invites are lovely! So elegant! So happy that you finally have them! Bet your well excited to finally get them out there!! You my lovely are the super woman waiting for these, I would have been on edge waiting for these and not having them out.

I would do that but I cook for me and OH and on a budget so it’s really hard at the moment. I do cook things from scratch. It’s just hard to stop with the sweet tooth. I need it to calm down. I’m thinking of just staying clear of all of the sweet things. I got rid of a lot of things this weekend and the expensive stuff I’ll just eat in little bits. I do still have 2 Easter eggs which is good. It’s just things like biscuits and also licource laces! Haha! They always find a way. TBH I think it’s just boredom. If I start doing things more than hopefully they will stop.

Misslynx – Its probably due to not wearing alot of makeup normally you may not be sure. I think a few more trials or going to the counters like you have mentioned and you will be more confidant with it. It does look so lovely though!! I wouldn’t worry as you do look awesome!

miss lynx - It's good that your make-up didn't budge, not good that it scared you though =/
From what I've heard MAC make-up is awesome, the only reason I've not used it is because I can't afford it! I think going to a few make-up counters is a good idea, a lot of them are really helpful and will suggest what products to try out. Definitely a good idea to moisturise, that's the one beauty thing I do stick to!
Maybe once you've done that you can have a chat with your MUA?
I must say that's strange about the individual lashes as my natural lashes are very long (think touching eyebrows long!) but the little individual ones still looked awesome. It is weird getting used to them though, they felt really heavy!

Although I must say again that I think you looked lovely ?
Glad you found 'the one', it really does look great on you

Lui - how can you forget wonder web?? It's the only reason my work trousers look acceptable ?
Well we cut all the material into 6 strips in Ikea, so it's a bit easier to manage. Just gotta now patiently wonder web 6 lots of backing material and stitch 6 lots of the other on top!
Haha my mum is exactly the same ... didn't pass any usable talents onto me thou!

OMG I was hoping you'd get that reference *high five*

Ooh tissues thank you for reminding me to get some! Definitely a nice idea to put them on the mum's seats, I'm sure they'll use them...

I am a total Zoidberg now, my lovely fake tan has been incinerated ?
May have to have another one once I'm back to being Casper!

Urgh doing wedding things in the week really got to me not long ago, felt like I was going home from work to more work. But it will all be worth it in the end ?
Don't get me started on the name places ... FMIL has decided the ones I bought are too plain ?

Stephied - thank you my lovely, and yes the drapes are a piggin nightmare! Can't say I blame you for not making another jar...
No chocolate?! I honestly couldn't cope!
Your invites look amazing, really lovely ?

PS - 90 pages and 1335 posts ... talkative much!

Ah thanks Lui - I have been on edge to be honest with you! Can't move onto the next phase without numbers so hopefully into the final stretch now ? just noticed she's not put the RSVP date on so I'll just have to tell people as I deliver them ha ha

I can't believe you've still got Easter eggs left!! They don't survive the day in my house! My cheat meal got a bit out of hand at the weekend, ended up polishing off two individual white choc and strawb cheesecakes and a giant bar of galaxy to myself ️?️

That is the best way though, to just not have crap in the cupboards I've found Smiley smile

Thanks LMP!! It's a good deal of will power let me tell you....

LMP - I just tend to take things to my mum because I wont do a good job which is how I forget haha! My sewing really is mainly on my running bottoms when they split from to much use and then a week later they are replaced! Haha!

How rude that our mums didn’t pass on the useable talents hahaha!

Well with the wonder web it doesn’t sound too bad! (fingers crossed haha!)

Hahah Yeaaaaaa *high five*. It always pops into my head when i tell people the date i’m getting married, as the police man in the apartment is like “who the *** get married n Halloween?”. I always think someone will say that to me! Haha!

No worries!! I thought about it the other day when I was working on my vows and though that the speeches may really set them off too!

Oh poor you! How long until your casper?

Thats what I think about it, but if it has to be done it now has to be done i guess. Plus its only 129 until i get my weekends/evening and money back! However its now officially less than 6 weeks to my hen do! Really can’t believe how close that is!! I hope it does not rain for that hahaha!

Finally arranged the drivers for that too! I was so worried i was going to have to end up driving but luckily the ladies have sorted that! Yey!

Why does she think they are too plain?! I mean its cards with names on, how ornate do you want them to be? Although I’m not having cards, our are little skull name bracelets, not sure about them but now I can be bothered to change them to anything else.

Stephied – I would tell them, put it on face book and text people! People are useless with it all.

They are in the cupboard where I can’t see them which helps and i only remember when I go in there. I should probably hand them over to someone who would eat them because they will just go to waste!

We got rid of a lot of food and put a lot away where I can’t see it which is good!

Your cheat day sounds amazing! Ammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmazing, I want to eat all of that hahaha!

    We are so talkative hahaha!

Its good that I’ve got a bit more spare time this week, last week I was so busy!!!

It is very rude of our mothers not to pass on talents such as sewing whilst cooking dinner & babysitting!
I haven't had to sew anything in years, really don't want to muck it up ... all the material cost me about £60 so don't want to be replacing it.

Lui ... "Who the f*** gets married on Halloween??"
    Happy now ?

Tissues are added to the list, thank you muchly!

I reckon I should be back to 'normal' in a week, am peeling epically now. It's gross ☹️

It has gotta be done hun these wedding things won't make/sew/paint/write/glue themselves unfortunately.
In 129 days you'll officially have a Mr Lui plus everyone will get to see what you've been working so hard to achieve and enjoy it with you both.

Can't believe how quick your hen do has come around, glad you got the drivers sorted as well.
I found out when my hen do is as well now ... 31st July ?

LOVE the idea of skull name bracelets, how awesome!
I've bought these which are apparently boring and cheap...

Wow £60 on material, that’s expensive, yea don’t want to be buying more of that. I have all the faith you can do it though, remember what they said with the tortoise and the hair, slow and steady wins the race. So slow and it will be fine and awesome!

Hahaha thanks lovely! Now I’m not waiting for someone to say it to me!

Any time! That also reminds me I need to buy hair stuff for the man’s box. Do you think one brand would be ok? I was thinking of getting a miniature from boots and having one brand but not sure if everyone is happy with that?!

Exfoliate a lot, which will help with all of that. I hate peeling and end up living in moisturiser hahaha!

Hopefully so, I get so worried that no one is going to like it or it won’t look good. You know what i mean I’ve ranted about this before, it’s just a big worry of mine.

I can’t wait to be drinking fizz and stress free and not care about anything or feel like it’s so far away. You must be close to double figures soon right? You must be like 109 day or something like that!

Awww yey!!! Just over a month until yours!! Have you heard any more about it at all? Eep can’t believe it’s so close, so glad they have started filling you in!

I know i cant believe its 6 weeks away, i remember buying my ticket in November! Seriously November!! Hahaha!

Those cards are lovely! The detail doesn’t make them look plain or boring! Prffffffffffft! I’d keep them and have them! I mean at the end of the day it’s a name place holder, she just needs to chill her beans!!

Yeah it is expensive, but it's a lot damn cheaper than hiring someone to come in and dress it 'professionally'. I'm hoping to do the wonder webbing tomorrow, might start on the stitching Saturday...

Your welcome, one thing off the list ?

Well I asked my OH about what stuff to put in the guy's bathroom basket and he laughed at me!! Apparently it's a silly idea and no guy will use any of it ?
So I'd say one brand will be fine...

Am using my exfoliating gloves, and even have a pot of moisturiser at work with me!

Everyone will love it because it's what you & your OH chose, and they been asked to share it with you ❤️

Trust me it'll be here before you know it, I'm on 102 days now!!

They won't tell me anything other than we're going to my favourite camping place, my MOH has booked me a half day off work on the Friday and I know we're coming home Sunday. But what we're doing whilst we're there I don't know =...

I've also decided to book an afternoon tea for 29th Aug, as one of my closest friends has just had a littleun and I know she won't be able to come camping. I want to do something she can be included in.

? I wish I could tell FMIL to chill her beans!!

Ohhh let me know how you get on?

Haha hi can tick that off the list completely hahah!

Thank your OH for me hahaha! ? I shall just buy the one brand! I may buy two as the miniatures that I’m going to buy are really small and knowing my luck if I buy just one it will all be used. ?

Hahah you’re a moisturiser queen! Least you’re keeping on top of it. It’s better than flaking everywhere and being super dooper gross haha.

I know and your completely right, I worry just seeing other weddings that ours wont be as good and will look DIY instead of nice! Hahah good old fears! ️?️

Wow 102 days! By Friday you will be in double figures!! OH GOD! I’m scared for you hahaha!

Aww camping yey!! Glad I’m not the only one camping for my hen. I was very worried about it as I dont know anyone else who has done it before! I bet you do some pretty awesome things!! Thats really cool that your friends booked your holiday! Thats so sweet!!

Afternoon tea sounds good! I did that to make sure everyone met and it was some good fun! Plus all the tea and cakes! Can never be sad about that hahaha! Are you going to add some fizz to it? Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhh ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh fizz Smiley laugh ?

You should do the nod of acknowledgement and not change anything hahaha! She wont know until the day and then oops too late hahahah! ?

    Hello everyone,

I'm quite new to all this so am not sure how to use this forum properly...

Just writing to see if any of you had thought about getting your wedding video filmed and professionally edited? It seems to be something that not many brides think about unless a friend gives them a glittering review of a videographer they had or saw at another wedding!

Anyway, I make videos and many of my customers have said that they treasure the videos I make them more than they value their professional photos. If you'd take 5 minutes to look at my work I'd be very grateful.

I'm in this particular thread because I'm offering a 20% discount for all October brides, what a result!

    Please reply with any questions,

    Thanks for your time. Andy.

    I shall keep you posted!

Always better to buy more in my opinion, you just never can tell ?
I was really upset when he laughed at me though ... I'd put so much thought into what I was going to get and now he won't let me bother.

Urgh seriously the thought of flaking everywhere makes me shudder. I absolutely hate the feel of peeling skin ?
Probably doesn't help that my sister is a weirdo and was chasing me round my mum's on Sunday trying to peel my shoulders!!

I always worried that my wedding will look DIY instead of all polished and perfect. But then I realised that I'd rather people know how much love and effort went into everything, so MEH!

PLEASE DON'T REMIND ME I'LL BE IN DOUBLE FIGURES SOON I WILL LOSE MY MIND....

I'm ridiculously excited to be going camping, I love it! They've picked my favourite camp site ... which just happens to have a pool & several jacuzzi s ?
Slightly concerned what the activities will be though...

Cannot wait for the cake! Will definitely be adding fizz if I can get away with it ?

I think I might just change FMIL's place card and then if she says anything I can say "Well your the only one who had a problem!!"

I'd love a wedding video but just don't think our budget will stretch to it Andy. I almost gave into a groupon offer on a videographer but chickened out!

    good luck Smiley smile
