Meanie!! just do them anyway, I mean the ladies will probably be super thankful! The only thing I’ve learnt about the boxes is that if you have kids is don’t put head ache tablets in, as they may think they are sweets. Ha yeaaaa do it!! The place cards are one of the smallest things that will be seen for about 2 hours max (depending on meal and speeches) and people won’t keep looking at them! You should give her a really ornate one! Haha!

Very tired and grumpy panda today ... ended up having a H-U-G-E row with the OH last night, and yes the place cards were mentioned! Long story short my sofa is not comfy enough to sleep on ☹️
Why do weddings make some people go crazy?!

Lui - I'm expecting the wonder webbing bit to be ok, and I'm fairly confident that the stitching will be to. As my MOH pointed out, the top stitches will be quite high up ... so really who's going to notice if their a bit wonky??

I think the ladies will be super thankful for the goodies, I've been to a few weddings and been grateful for the little deodorants and hand creams that were provided. Am sure the guys will be to it's probably just my OH being annoying.

I'm going camping with my MOH, bridesmaid and best man - although their having to change the date as they booked my time off work before booking the camp site and have just discovered the camp site are fully booked!!

And my mum's revealed that's she planned a 'Civilised Garden Party Hen Do' for 5th September, and invited all my family friends/aunts/cousins etc

Not much new with me. Been busy with work, and prepping for redecorating downstairs. And we going away to Filey a week on Monday. So hoping to get back into wedding mode and get crafting again in July.

I joined slimming world a couple of weeks ago. That's going well. Lost 11 pounds in my first week, 2nd weigh in tomorrow

Hopefully my dress will be ok being taken in, they said it would be! I did warn them I'd be losing weight!

I've had most rsvp's back. Am getting one back tonight from OH's sister... am very interested to see what that one says since they fell out with us in September over wedding plans!

Normally dresses can be taken in 2 dress sizes, it normally more of an issue to take a dress out.

That’s the exact same reason i liked it, plus the colours will reflect the lights in there too. Have you found it all over your carpet? Cause I have, even when i poor it in with a funnel its like little bits appear! Haha.

I love finding little gems like that. I found a red lipstick recently and some eye shadow palette when I cleaned the spare room a bit more. Loved them and now have them to wear for this weekend.

I keep having wedding dreams where we're getting married but nothing has been done and even my hair just gets pulled up in a pony tail. This may well turn out to be my reality ?

LMP – I’m thinking along the lines, if the weather is late this year then hopefully its late for us and October will be lovely. Last year it was dry a bit nippy but thats fine, as long as its dry thats all I want. Although with 4 months to go will be at the mercy of that for a while!

As weird as it sounds, I'd suggest putting the skulls in an (empty) sink or bath and then filling them. Any sparkly bits that go everywhere can then just be washed down the drain ... worked for me with the vases ?
I'm the same with make-up I always buy it thinking "Yeah I'll totally learn how to use it" and then it gathers dust for months until one of my friends sees it and goes "Oh pretty" and takes it home ?

Sorry I've not been about for a bit - I've been stuck in report writing mode but am now free!

I need your advice on something...

I am looking to get some customised Converse for the evening in case my feet can't last in my amazing shoes all night! I have designed them but can't make a decision on the writing...can you vote on the one you prefer?

They are basically the same, dark red and ivory (my wedding colours) but one has 'BRIDE' written on the heel strip and the other has 'MRS COOPER' (my married name) along the side of the shoe (see links below). I plan on wearing them after the wedding too!

Thanks for your opinions guys! I've always wanted some Converse and this is the cheeky way of getting them and having flats for the evening.

In other news, we have just found out that our landlord is looking to sell our flat and that means we either have to move out 2 weeks before we get married or within the next two months! I'm devastated! As if trying to plan a wedding wasn't time-consuming and hard enough?!!!

Can’t you explain to the landlord that you have the wedding and need to be there until after when you will be happy to move?!

I have explained to the letting agents about that (and the fact that we are away for our honeymoon over xmas and new year so won't be around then either) but I doubt that will change anything as they will want to make as much money as possible. Plus, in the interim, between the wedding and the honeymoon, things will be really busy with concerts etc as I'm a teacher!
