Lui - I know, I can't believe it's 3 weeks on Saturday I swear every time I sleep I lose 3 more days!!
I've literally just murdered my work calendar with reminders so I should be ok now, although I do need to get my bridesmaids tights thanks for reminding me!
My seamstress is going to text me after the weekend as she has a wedding to finish off for this Saturday, so hopefully I'll have a final appointment booked early next week.

Yup I'm pleased I text my seamstress, feel relieved to know she hasn't forgotten. Am hoping to get an appointment with her for Saturday 19th as that'll give 2 weeks for any final tweaks. I can't imagine that'll be needed though as she was only taking it out a little bit and I know she's already made the halter neck.

It's not too bad where I live tbh, it's a nice balance as the main shopping & entertainment places are about 10-15 minutes away but we have quite a few really nice big parks and places to walk around.
And we're quite close to some really quaint places that yes, have little cottages and tea rooms ?

There’s memorial park near me which is nice but its basically concrete, however living close to Leamington and Warwick and Stratford helps because I can go to those places and they are pretty. Right so I’ll be over in January so we can drink tea and eat cake and forget about the January blues?!?

As for hair breaking I always find Pantene Repair & Protect works well.

Hello lovelies! So somehow, now my hen parties are out of the way, I have less than a month left - eeep!! Where the hell did the past two years go?? So exciting though, it's almost our time!

Had such an amazing time on hen party two in Magaluf, wasn't sure if I'd enjoy it being the grand old age of 31, but we had so much fun. Felt like I didn't stop laughing from the moment we got on the plane til we came home! I would share some pics but my phone was stolen in one of the bars, which is a real shame as the weekend was so brilliant apart from that!

I only scrolled through last 2 or 3 pages so apologies if I've missed anything else:

LMP - hope you have a super time on your hen party chick! Keep your phone close ha ha ?

Lui - I had shellac put on last night, mine always grow really long and strong underneath it. I'm hoping I won't need a fill in between now and the wedding and can just get them done again for the day. The lady in the shop also told me to use cuticle oil every day, she said I'd see a massive difference in the length. Must remember to pick some up later on if I can!

What's everyone got left to do? I had a bumper day yesterday and bought 100 candles (for our candelabras), favour bags, guest book, pins for boutonnieres, ring cushion, craft glue and some bridesmaid gifts. Almost there now, but probably a hardcore crafting weekend on the cards for me and OH ha ha.

I am a 10th October bride too! :-)

Still not finalised the evening guests due to quite a lot being unable to attend for valid reasons - hoping to do in the next week!

Also collecting the rings, picking up OH's adjusted waistcoat, buying music for the brass quintet to play and shopping for a personalised crystal brandy glass for best man are critical this weekend!

Car and photographer paid off last week. Next week is final BM adjustments/pick up my dress and pay reception.

I am truly stressed and a bit panicky now - not on getting married, but on everything going to plan!

Had a manicure last week - had shellac polish and nails are doing ok - going for a pedicure and if I can afford it a body scrub this week! All in preparation!

Hope everyone else is doing well - I gave up a while ago keeping up but yay to hen nights and the flashes I have been seeing all look lovely

I will make an effort to post at least twice a week on the countdown!

I'm off for my dress fitting on Sunday...! not sure how I feel about it really... excited/nervous/indifferent! lol

My recent plans for "wedding weekends" fell through so I feel way behind... have one scheduled in for next weekend, which is 3 weeks before...

when can I do my favours (M&M's in boxes) and sweet buffet? I'm concious of doing it too early and ruining the sweets/chocs etc...

Well I gave the hotel the benefit of the doubt and left it till today before contacting them, as I still haven't had my £101 off them. I rang their accounts department and they didn't know anything about it. Promised she would call me back with it ten mins - 45 mins later, I had to call them and I went mad at them. As a result it will be refunded within 5 working days. Apparently.

Really not happy with the service we had received off them so I'll be firing an email off to them to complain after the wedding. Can't risk them spitting in my food or anything!

Had a good day as well. I've been offered a long term cleaning contract with one of the housing companies up here and it's great pay. It means between the cleaning business and my supermarket job I'll be 33 hours a week over 5 days but early mornings and late nights (finish shop job at 12am) so I'm going to v tired. Not sure what to do! x

Hi Lui! I'm the 24th October.

I'm off to get my nails done at 5pm, trying a new salon for gel nails as the last place I went to weren't very good. Ill be getting gel/shellac for my hen do (3 weeks) then wedding day (3 weeks after that!!)

Me and my mum went to York yest to get our bearings for the Manor house we have book, theres 18 of us going 2/3/4th october

I'm so glad the weather has perked up, a week or so ago it was awful and there was talk of an early winter. Everyone says I won't be cold on the day because of adrenaline and I'm not wearing a coat over my dress! People say you can have some lovely days in October so fingers crossed the sun shines on us all.

This week I've had my nose against the grindstone at work so there hasn't been a whole load of wedding planning. It's lovely to have my OH back after his stag, I got some lovely pressies from him too so we're all winners. I am still trying to sort out Hen 3 of 3 at a spa here in London.

LMP - You are a braver woman than me camping but I hope your outdoor hen goes well. Did you have good weather? I love your all about the cake, about the cake line, very funny! I'm with you on that, cake makes us stronger

Lui - Thanks for doing the calendar, it's good to know when we all become OMs. The names and dates read like the names of horses, it's so funny! I take vitamins for my hair, steam it and use medicated leave in conditioner from a tricologist, but have an ongoing problem with my hair. It's OK at the moment so I just have to hope it doesn't go anywhere in the next 6 weeks. I have been having manicures and using nail envy since Dec 2014. My nails are the best they've ever looked in my life. They were beautiful in the summer but now I am back to work (I teach young children) 3 of them have broken. I've cut them all down in the hope that I'll get some good growth over the coming weeks. Fingers and nails crossed guys.

Stephied9384 - Good for your having such a wild hen! Sorry about your phone that must be a pain so close to the wedding and organising things. Wow has your wedding been two years in planning? You must be about to burst as the day is almost upon us. We have been planning for 13 months now and I must confess there's been a lot of counting down during that time.

There are a few things left to do dress fitting, ring cleaning, finish table centres, make favours, tweak speech (I'm making one, is anyone else) and learn it, make final payments, change currency for honeymoon, book cabs for wedding party, final meeting with the venue and a few other things.

Something I have really enjoyed doing is downloading music to listen to on the morning of the wedding while us girls get ready. I've included things like 'I'm getting married in the morning' and songs that mean a lot to me and my OH. It was good fun and I know it will be a good addition to the wedding morning.

Have a lovely weekend and I hope all hens go well.
