October Wedding

Hi I see that you are in Nottinghamshire so there is a chance that I have shot weddings at your venue before as I work out of Leicester and could show you photos in October taken at your venue. PM me if you don't want it public.

My sister got married in October and it rained on and off all day - her photographer gave her a big white umbrella for the photos and they are so beautiful!

My parents got married in October many many years ago and it was a beautiful bright sunny day, so the complete opposite.

Here is a few from last Oct all around the middle and end. You can see the foliage starting to turn which only adds to the colour. Plenty warm enough in the day and even at night too, the only rain was at night once but that was a short very light spell, the main issue was a constant "threat" of rain - but you let me worry about that Photography by Bill Haddon

My friend got married at the end of October last year and it was really sunny and unusually warm. Her photos are beautiful and she themed it with autumn colours which was so lovely. I think with the UK you can plan a certain time of year but the weather here is just too unpredictable. I personally wouldn't plan my wedding based on the weather of a certain time of year. Go on other factors such as venue availability, school holidays vs term time etc and pick based off that. A good photographer will get good photos despite the weather.

Obviously a summer wedding means a higher chance of good weather, but again its not guaranteed over here. I had my engagement party at the end of July 2021 and it rained really hard for about an hour of it.
