OMs- celebrating double anniversaries?!

It's our 8 year anniversary today (of getting together) and bless my OH, he got me a card and pizza express voucher (this sounds lame but is true romance as he HATES that restaurant but it's my fave)

How long can I get away with celebrating two anniversaries for?! ? He's taking me for dinner tomorrow too (alas, not to Pizza Express) so I am quite content milking this for as many years as I can.

    Lucky you! We decided to really only celebrate our wedding as opposed to when we got together (which is roughly around the same date anyway mind). String it out as long as possible ?

    Haha you're lucky. In the run up to wedding mine said:

    'Yes! This means I don't have to remember that anniversary of when we got together! It does mean that, doesn't it?'

    The anniversary of us getting together is also my birthday so there is always a celebration!

    Our anniversaries are only 2 weeks apart so we'll probably combine the two. I agree with Missus S - string out having two for as long as you can!

    I plan to milk both anniversaries for as long as poss. We just celebrated 1 whole year of being engaged and I got chocolates out of that!!
