One for the ladies only! ***Lingerie-related***

Hi, ladies!

What I thought would be easy as pie is turning into nightmare!

I cannot believe how little choice there is for satin underwear!!! I found only one model in Debenhams but as it's winter I'd rather not wear a thong, and the other option they have in the range is a low raise shortie which doesn't suit my belly (I give my insulin injections in my lower belly and it's got a few nodules and looks a bit podgy so low raise stuff tends to roll down ☹️

The only other options I found are french knickers, again, not something I am looking for. I am looking for a bikini brief, if possible stretch satin and suspender. All I can find is lace!!!

    What about Debenhams? John Lewis? A big departmenty sort of store should have a good choice in [hopefully]

    Orrr ASOS does lingerie, have you looked on there?

    tried La Senza too... Only satin they have is French knickers...

    No, not tried ASOS but my first port of call was Debenhams and M&S (they're across from each other in Leeds) and House of Fraser... Debenhams had something but was very expensive - although gorgeous - in the Janet Reger line...

    I know but my budget is very very tight as we decided that the venue was most important to us and the photographer and videographer so the rest of the budget is minuscule... Wedding day or not, I can't justify paying £40 for a pair of knickers!! As much as I'd love to!!

    By the way - thanks for the ASOS idea - they have something there I like!!!

    Strangely enough I got mine in Ann Summers!

    In the sale I got this babydoll set


    and pair of knickers (satin in the front, sheer in the back ?)


    All for £19......

    I bought something similier at an anne summers party...but it was a satin panel all along the front and the sides were lace. Think it was only £30...would that suit?

    Just looked on Ann Summers website earlier today as i used to buy a lot from there at one time but couldn't find this - maybe I didn't look in every category?? Liking this but I would prefer the satin on the bum... Don't ask! LOL ?

    I found it by chance in the shop, might be the knickerbox part of ann summers...

    come to think of it, it may have been last season's... surely they must have something similar?

    I got some ivory satin briefs from La Senza but it was a couple of months ago. Must have stopped doing them? ?

    That's what I mean. When i wasn't looking they were everywhere!!! And now my OH threw me completely! Just walked in looked over my shoulder, seen the site i was looking at (underwear) and drop the bombshell that actually he wonders if I'd wear some nice satin or silk FRENCH KNICKERS of all things!!!! I am not overly keen on them but they MAY be warmer in winter LOL!

    Have you tried figleaves.com? I think they have a specific bridal section. I saved on wedding lingerie in the end, but splurged on a white satin garter from www.sarahjoygarters.co.uk. That was my little luxury!
