Onesies

Nutella, 12 November, 2012 at 18:54 Posted on Planning 0 17

Am after getting onesies for me and bridesmaids for morning of wedding.

Given that means 4, I can't afford the earth so am trying to ideally find some under £20 each (ideally more like £15) which can be personalised either 'Bridesmaid' or 'Name'

Anyone seen any or can help me find?

Primark did a great selection of onesies this time last year, quite a few of them plain - not sure what they're stocking at the moment but could be worth a look?

I second Primark, I am actually going tomorrow to have a look at the onesie selection - this time of year they maybe aimed towards the christmas market mind x

    Primark vote again.

As for personalisation, it'll be easy peasy to do yourself Smiley smile

You can buy t-shirt transfer paper in poundshops (10 sheets, £1) which you literally just print your design onto with a normal printer. Cut it out and iron them on.

It's easy, cheap and the quality is good!

Alternatively, you can buy the little diamond transfers on ebay if you want something more blingy and iron those on instead?

Just out of curiosity, are these onesies like the animal ones you can get, like monkey and zebras?

If so they would probably make for some cracking frolic pictures in the morning.

Couples often ask me for advise on fun ideas, so I'd be interested to hear how these onesies go down. Smiley smile

I was in Peacocks the other day and they had quite a few.

Agree with doing the transfer yourself, we did it for my hen and it worked out great!

Well I was thinking more plain ones but that does sounds funny! ?

Thanks for the recommendations everyone, I've found some good ones on ebay but at £25 a pop its a bit steep! Will have to check out primarni/peacocks and the old transfer paper thing and see what we come up with ?

I am currently sporting my zebra primarni one from last year - a bargain at £12...

...with the personalisation though, they are made from cheap polyester so an iron might not be the best plan??

ETA... some form of puffy fabric pen might work though...

Are these any good? Perhaps email them and ask if a discount is possible on 4.

I had some really cheap knickers as a joke on my wedding night. They had a diamonate Mrs xxxxx on the back that I bought off ebay and ironed on myself. They were fine, just ironed on a medium heat.
