Online Guest Photo Uploads

Carly, 19 June, 2024 at 18:55 Posted on Planning 0 10

I want to use a designated online guest photo upload platform so that all of my guests can add photos to the same place, has anybody used something like this and who did you use?

I’m planning to put a QR code on the table so they just scan and drop the photos on, I don’t want it to be any effort for anyone?

We’re using Wedibox - there’s a small charge, you can access the photos for download for 3 months and that doesn’t start until the wedding date even if you set it up in advance

I can recommend https://www.piccnic.club/ because they’re fairly cheap, have a nice gallery design and connect to your google drive so all uploaded photos are automatically sent to your drive. They also have a free option.

That sounds like a fantastic idea! For easy photo sharing at events, platforms like WedPics or The Guest* can make the process simple for guests. They allow everyone to upload their photos in one place with minimal effort, and adding a QR code to the table is a clever touch! If you're also thinking of adding some great meal options for your event, you could check out Walk and Feast for some fantastic dining inspiration. It'll make the celebration even more memorable!

Funny enough, reading about press releases made me think about how much visuals matter, especially in winter when everything either looks magical or completely washed out. I remember trying to plan a small shoot last winter and realizing I had no clue how to use the cold, light, and scenery to my advantage. That’s when I started searching for winter photoshoot ideas, actually helped me see how to use snow, shadows, and natural contrast instead of fighting them. Ever since, my winter photos stopped looking flat and started feeling more alive

This is such a great idea and the QR code makes it super easy for guests. Seeing how much visuals matter at events actually reminds me of how news platforms work too. I follow Know Afrika for Africa news and they really show how powerful shared images can be in telling real stories. Having all your wedding photos in one place will definitely make reliving the day even more special.
