Opinions please! Confetti alternatives! Flower HIBS?

I am going to order rose petals as an alternative to confetti (can't stand the stuff and don't want people littering my Dad's garden with it!).

So - any thoughts on fresh petals vs dried petals? Florist can do either, price difference is not significant. Any thoughts or experiences on what works bes/looks nicest? (That said, thinking about it, I probably could buy dried ones myself MUCH cheaper from ebay - fresh I would need to rely on florist so probably would actually cost much more)

Secondly...

I want to split them between some containers to be passed around so that people can grab a handful. I did think of some baskets ... but now think either these

    I like the first ones, a bit more "interesting".

    As for dried vs. real, I'm not sure. But if the dried ones will be cheaper off ebay, I'd go for them ?

    I bought 9 (3 sets of 3) of the holey ones! ? They are all different sizes but that is fine I think.

    I am thinking about painting them pale blue though! Will see what I think when they arrive!


    And I have bought a large supply of big white brollies.


    As well as a prettier 'parasol' style one incase we need one for photos!

    Those frilly parasols are lovely!

    I ❤️ splashing the cash on ebay ? can be easy to forget that your spending real money tho! lol!
