OT: Just for fun - 25 random facts

I keep thinking of more now too!! I could easily pick another 25 out of everyone elses!

I know! OH has at least 50 things he would want to add on to mine!

1. I grew up in a pub, literally, my Mum was the landlady
2. I wanted to be a PE teacher when I was growing up
3. I had my daughter when I was 15
4. I have very, very low self esteem
5. I am very sarcastic
6. I am a real Daddy's girl and the thought that one day he'll be gone makes me cry
7. I wish I had gone to university
8. I have never regretted having my daughter but I do wonder how different my life would be
9. I know I need to book in for a smear test but I am absolutely petrified
10. I have been present for the birth of my 3 nieces
11. I would love a proper career
12. I don't like white chocolate
13. I love driving but never have anywhere to go
14. I love reading a good book but feel incomplete when it ends because I don't know what happens afterwards
15. I love Sex and the City
16. I want to be buried, not cremated
17. I am a terrible liar
18. I love doing puzzles
19. I have been to 8 funerals, 9 weddings and seen 5 babies be born
20. I love that my OH is scared of snakes
21. My children mean more to me than they will ever know even though I tell them at least once a day
22. I don't like coffee but I love the smell of it
23. I feel selfish leaving the kids while we go on our honeymoon and I know I'm going to cry...lots
24. I'm really looking forward to those few moments with my Dad before he walks me down the aisle
25. I love that I found Hitched. I think as a community it is great and everyone really comes together when they need to. I feel very unimportant on here and wouldn't be missed if I left .

I am also PETRIFIED of spiders and of giving birth. I hate being alone in a room/lift/car/other place with a man I don't know (after I was assaulted) this makes getting cabs home late at night quite tricky LOL. I love tomato pasta sauce and eat it cold (sometimes out of a jar if its readymade stuff).

ok, will try and make these as random as possible.

1. i used to go to the same school as kebab thief - i was in the year above her.
2. i pull my hair and had patches where i was nearly bald while growing up. i still do it sometimes and i don't even know i am. this doesn't help no.3....
3. i am getting increasing amounts of grey hairs! although i dye over them i tweezer them out if i see them.
4. i am my mum's spitting image. if i look half as good as her when i get to her age i'll be happy.
5. i have one younger sister and one younger brother who are both totally amazing....
6. ... but they are very close to each other, and i sometimes feel left out of their relationship.
7. i have size 3 and a half feet.
8. i think i have a great sense of style.... which is no mean feat when you are 5 foot nothing and a size 18.
9. i have 3 young cousins - and out of these, i have a favourite (though i don't let her know it).
10. i always knew i would fall for a man with an accent.
11. i (like many others on here!) am a spelling nazi, but hate using capital letters on this forum - can't be bothered.
12. i HATE HATE HATE textspeak with an absolute passion. i will actively avoid replying to posts from people who use it.
13. i have secrets from my h2b - i'm not proud of that.
14. i worry about how my h2b has coped with his grief from his mum dying.
15. i am a beauty junkie.
16. i am AWFUL, really terrible, at managing my own money.
17. i work in the nhs as a manager...
18. ... and mostly i love it, especially knowing that you have helped improve a patient's life/health in some small way. the work that nurses, drs, physios etc do, really inspires me.
19. when i was little, i wanted to be a page 3 girl....!!!! ❤️❤️
20. i am at my parent's house as we speak.
21. i speak french and have lived in paris, and could see the arc de triomphe and the eiffel tower from my flat window.
22. i don't have a massive circle of friends, but the friends i do have and see, i love very dearly.
23. i wish the diamond in my e-ring was just a little bit bigger ? but i adore it nonetheless.
24. i don't post on any other forums and before i joined hitched i thought everyone that did was a weirdo.
25. but i really love it here.

1) Ilove my H2b with a passion.

2) I hate spiders with a passion.

4) I would love to travel more

5) Love my oldies that I look after at work

6) I love being a Grandma.

7) I wish I were more petite, I have hands like shovels and size 8 feet.

8) I am hopeless at remembering birthdays etc.

9) I hate people that spread lies and rumours.

10) I regret not being able to make my first marriage last. Not for the lack of trying, I stuck with it for 31 years.

11) I love that first cup of tea in the morning.

12) I enjoy eating out.

2. I have the best parents and siblings in the world and wouldn’t change them for anything (ok, maybe for a bag of mini Eggs…)

25. I was bullied by my supposed 2 best friends when I was in senior school and since then I can never understand why people would want to be friends with me.

This is a really old post, but it had been bounced and I hadn't posted on it...so, here goes....

1.) I am not engaged! (yet!)

2.) Four weeks after breaking my leg, I had it re-broken and re-set whilst NOT under anesthetic.

3.) I have a "lady crush" on Audrey Tautou.

4.) I have an irrational fear of cheese graters.

5.) I have been broody for the last four years!

6.) I have a Cath Kidston addiction.

7.) Years ago, when I bought some Uggs, I told OH that they cost me £70, when actually they were £170.00. (Only lie I've ever told him!)

8.) I never want to go to America.

9.) Have a slight obsession with Citrus Squeezers!

10.) OH was my "first" (.........my last, my everything!)

11.) I have never taken illegal drugs.

12.) I collect Rose scented perfumes.

13.) I have strawberries growing in my old cast iron bath!

14.) I have always had issues with the way I look and wish I was thin and more attractive.

15.) I have REALLY low blood pressure and often faint. (Once fainted into a bowl of salsa at a BBQ!)

16.) I still haven't told my Dad that I changed my surname on my 18th birthday, to my Mum's maiden name.

17.) I was once asked out by a professional footballer. (When we were at school. I said no even though then he was earning 40k a month, apparently! I chose the lovely, but poor man instead, my OH!!!)

18.) During my A-levels I spent 2 and a half days a week at my friend's house, looking after her as she had anorexia and wasn't in school. (I used to babysit her. She is four years younger than me, but I love her like a sister.)

19.) I was born "face first" and whenever I put a jumper on, I subconsciously push my face through first - could there be a link?

20.) I always wanted a Sister.

21.) As soon as I get home from Uni I put my jogging bottoms and a hoodie on straight away.

22.) Twelve years on, I still haven't told my Dad that my Mum re-married. (He just thinks that they are a couple)

23.) I look like a pained animal when I apply mascara. And mascara is the only form of make-up I wear on a daily basis.

24.) I got all A's in my A-levels.

25.) I can't eat a chocolate bar without licking the crumbs off the bite i've just taken (if that makes sense?!) As in bite - lick bite area of bar - chew

Not sure I'll manage 25 or that they'll even be interesting but here goes.

1. I had my tongue pierced when I was 14.

2. My h2b is 10 years older than me.

3. I have had laser removal to get rid of a tattoo of my ex boyfrinds name (high school boyfriend).

4. I have a gorgeous 2 year old & becoming a mum was & is the best thing ever.

5. I will have a brand new nephew next month.

6. Since I passed my driving test (7 years ago) all the cars I have had have been either blue or black.

7. I have never done anything exciting likve sky diving, white water rafting etc would love to but I'm too scared.

8. If I don't know people well I don't like them to touch me or get too close.

9. I'm rubbish with money, just can't ever seem to save any.

10. I went to see the Foo Fighters @ Wembley last year, they were the 1st band I had ever seen live.

11. I have never had a pet.

12. I would LOVE to be a photographer.

13. If my h2b puts the washing out to dry I re do it all when I get home because he doesn't do it the way I do it & it annoys me.

14. My hair has been dyed red, green, blue, pink, orange, black, purple but it will NEVER be blonde.

15. I am not a girly girl & have 1 dress in my wardrobe that I bought for my cousins wedding last year & haven't worn since.

16. I always read the last page of a book 1st.

17. I dont wear make up apart from if I go out on a weekend.

18. I always put my lip gloss & eye liner in my bag on a night out but never re apply either during the night.

19. I drink pints of larger when I go out & don't like any other alcohol.

20. I really want another baby before I get married next year (best get a move on)

21. When I was little I wanted to be a machanic when I grew up.

22. I love the smell of Magic Markers.

23. I really hate house work but actually quite like doing the ironing.

24. I am a chocoholic.

25. I'm glad I managed 25 things.

1. I've never had a pet.

2. I regret leaving my first job but take comfort in the fact that if I was still there now, it's changed so much, I don't think i'd be happy.

3. It annoys me when I send people an email from work which has my whole name in the address and my whole name in the sign off but when people reply, they spell it wrong.

4. I've dreamt about getting married since I was little. I'm now 30 and planning my wedding yet I really can't be bothered.

5. I only have one close friend but I have alot of 'not so close' friends who I don't see very often!

6. The above close friend, her husband and children mean the world to me and I can't imagine being without them.

7. I bake cakes on the weekends and sell them to my MIL2B for her deli.

8. I love tea.

9. I don't watch much tv but what i do watch is utter trash. I also love the trashy papers on a Sunday.

10. I am a complete lighweight when it comes to alcohol (i never used to be!)

11. I love Tottenham Hotspur which is handy because h2b is a season ticket holder. I don't go to many games these days though.

12. I've got 396 friends on Facebook, most of whom i went to school with. A good half of them I don't remember. My school days memory is terrible.

13. I have awful willpower and never stick to losing weight. I hate this about myself.

14. I have lots of family in Canada and love it over there.

15. My housework is never ending and it drives me crazy. I can never keep on top of it.

16. I love it when other people cook for me.

17. Take That are my favourite band and i've seen them on every single tour they've done right back to the early days. I love them.

18. I wear glasses for long distance and I hate them.

19. Every time h2b goes on a night out i treat myself to M&S Ultimate Mash. It's so yummy.

20. My last boyfriend was seeing someone behind my back and she fell pregnant. We broke up immedately and they didn't last either ?

21. I must have Vaseline/Eight Hour Cream or lip gloss on my lips at all times. I feel like I'm dying if my lips go dry. I'm seriously addicted (she says as she applies more Eight Hour Cream).

22. I never make enough time for myself.

23. I didn't really like my engagement ring at first. I love it now.

24. I wanted to work in McDonalds when i was little. Now i'd love to work for myself full time.

25. I worry for worrying's sake. I take after my mum.

I would say these points about myself cheska, only thing is i am still flat chested and have had a nose Job. Anyway dont know if I can get 20 but I will try...........

1, I have a tattoo on my shoulder that means FLOOR.

2, I once was stuck in a disabled toliet with 9 other kids and the fire men had to rescue us.

5, i have never met anyone else with the same name as my daughter. ( SKYLA).

6, I have studying OU courses in Humanties/ literature/ Religion and Philosophy.

7, I cant spell very well.

8, I am a vegaterian and hate Mushrooms.

9, Most of my friends describe me as stange and unique!!!!

10, I had my son at 17 but still managed to become a qualifed Mental health Nurse while raising him.

11, When i was pregnant I craved Spicy curry pot noodles and toothpaste.

12, I would do anything for anyone and cant lie.

13, I like watching my daugters DVDs like High School Musical, Mamma Mia, Annie etc.

14, I have had a Nose Job.

15, I want a boob Job.

16, I cant take critisism very well.

17, I cry at silly things and laugh at myself alot.

18, I want to do a bungee jump and parachute jump.

19, I love Lost/ Heros and Americas Next top model.

20, I have to have all my food seperate on my plate when it is served, then the first thing I do is mix it all together!!
