Our shabby chic casual wedding planning ** flash**

Hello ladies ,

I'd thought i'd have a go at doing a little flash of some wedding planning for our Casual Shabby Chic home made wedding....... what do you think? x

There big pics but i cant make them smaller.........


The Venue is a barn/tearoom, we are having light pink bows.......


Monty the campervan is taking us there.......


Our lovely friend is making us a campervan cake - bit like this idea......


I did this as a test run, its for the signing table thing


Ive been messing with jam jars to make centerpieces.......


Wood I got for free from the local tree surgeon - for table etc, currently drying in my dads cellar......


Camper van favours - to be filled with sweets


Little flags to go in teacups filled with marshmallows


Ive been collecting loads of tea cups from charity shops


Bottles for pink lemonade - i'll put a pretty luggage tag on too.


Home made card case


Something like this for grooms buttonhole


Best man and my dads button hole - bit like this - made from herbs


last but not least......... THE DRESS. I'd have the bows tied as one at the back though.


I just love my dress!!!

    LOve it all. We've been collecting Jam Jars and currently have about 150 soaking in paddling pools in the garden to get the lables off lol xx

    I love this! We too are having this theme and a church and barn wedding - I've been collecting jars ect and getting my friends to too! - Some lovely ideas x

    Hi, Thanks so much for the lovely comments xx I dont have a pic of me in it yet no as they squeezed me in teeny weeny one!! I still knew it was THE ONE though! I do love it, There is a Trunk Show at The White Closet in October so Im going again then to try it on again and get measured, cant wait ?

    Have also started collecting glass jars, any size and shape... the more the merrier Smiley smile Not quite sure what to do with them yet though... Candles, flowers, pebbles...

    Your dress is gorgeous and i love your cloudy leamonade idea. My fav are your botton hole flowers though, they are perfect

    Ive bought battery powered tea lights from ebay for my jam jars, they are great Im going to put single stems in the rest.

    I love the button holes too, i didnt realise herbs could be so pretty! xx

    I realise this is late comment but had to say I love it all. We're going for shabby chic/vintage meets modern (venues are modern but everything else including my dress is vintage or vintage style).

    Where did you get the camper van favour boxes? They are fab!

    Lovely ideas- I am biased though as I had camper cans and tea cups at our wedding!

    And thanks for all the comments on the favour boxes, there from eBay. I just got 2 to see what they looked like but I love them. Gonna put my full order in now. Just need to decide what sweeties to put in! Xx

    I recognise your venue and car from a couple of years ago (my daughter cancelled her wedding). She had booked Monty and Lili. She also liked the barn too but it wasn't quite big enough.

    Oooo we better hurry up and book him then...when are you getting married? we aren't until 2014!! meeting a photographer called haydn rydings this week so hoping we like him as much as we like his pics and then just asked a few florists initial ideas of prices...liking the look of zuzu's petals in great moor but they haven't got a website just a facebook atm i think il have a look at your florist and tog thanks Smiley laugh x

    We are June 2013 but i'd maybe get your camper van booked as they sound very popular, it was one of the first thing we booked ha. Ive not heard of zuzu's ill check it out as its good to look around isnt it. x
