Outdoorsy South West venue under £5000?

aBrideInCorwall, 20 April, 2017 at 10:52 Posted on Planning 0

Hi all, this is my first post- I'm starting to get the wedding planning bug!

I wonder if anyone might be able to help me out with a venue suggestion. We're in Cornwall, but have family as far as Bristol and the New Forest, so ideally would like to have our wedding within the south west. The dream would be somewhere that folk can camp overnight, or that has some kind of accommodation, as lots will be travelling. I'd also love something outdoorsy, maybe a marquee (if we can have bonfires, even better!) There are several venues in Cornwall that offer similar, but I'm struggling to find much under 6-7 grand, which is a bit over our budget Smiley sad any thoughts would be appreciated!

Hi, we're in Devon & when we were looking we came across a yurt camp near Newton Abbot, they have lots of yurts on site for people to stay in and a barn & tipi for the wedding. We loved it, but unfortunately it would have been too expensive for us. I think it was around the 5k mark. There's also a campsite near Exmouth that 'does weddings' I beleive, but never looked into it so cant say more than that!

    Good luck!
