These forums have been a life saver so far, so I thought I'd try posting another query.
I'm getting married in Mexico next April and then having a party to celebrate in Manchester, next August. My ideal is to have some entertainment from a couple of drag queens. Our idea is to have a couple of very glam queens welcome our guests, encourage them to grab drinks and help them relax into the evening. There'd then be some food and then the queens would entertain. I wanted to have some quite traditional party games to get people mingling and provide some structure the the event. I'm thinking play your cards right fr example where we get a couple of guests up to play and interact. Ideally there may be a tune or two from a queen to get the party started and then we'd have a DJ.
Does anyone know any Queens that can help? I'm not looking for Bet Lynch in Lycra, the venue is art deco and glam so I want to lean into that theme. The humour needs to be relatively safe because not everyone will warm to the dry wit like me and my fiance. I've tried one agency but they weren't really able to help.
Any ideas most welcome!
