I have been told by some that party favours aren't really worth it - what do you think?

I've noticed quite a lot of favours left behind at most weddings I've been to. And I honestly can't remember most of the favours I've been given and probably wouldn't have noticed if they'd not been there. I think if there's something you really want to do, then go for it, but if you're not sure, then feel free to ditch them.
