Pebbles - alternative guest book idea

Hi - I am considering having an alternative guest book where people write on a pebble and then we can keep them in a glass jar.

Has anyone done this before? How would I get guests to do this? any thoughts welcome

I have lots of pebbles and "sea glass" I have collected from beaches (including some from the beach where I was proposed to in January!) so would just need a fine permanent marker and a jar ?

I love this idea !?

Maybe just organise a small table somewhere with the pebbles in a box and a vase or hurrican lantern. Then just a small sign explaining you alternative guest book. You could even get BM/ushers to spread the word throughout the day

dont know if that any help but thats how i would try and go about it
