Pedicure or chiropodist?

Kazmerelda, 25 February, 2009 at 13:53 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 6

Just a quickie question, I have what I would call winter feet (abit dry) and slightly yellowy tonenails (the big ones) and my little toenails don;t grow normally but are thick and grow up (I paint an attractive footness don't I!)

Would you go for a pedicure just to sort them out or the chiropodist? I have done home peds for myself as I am embarrassed about my little toenails, but debating whether I should just have a small treat for myself.

?

Have you got hard skin? I would probably say a chiropodist. I had a pedicure before christmas and although I had a massage/creams etc. put on my heels if i'd had dry skin it wouldn't have done the job.

Why don't you call a local chiropodist and ask them?

Luckily is not too hard really, just dry.

I have always wondered which one to go for, I worry my feet are disgusting silly really they probably have seen lots worse.

I would say chiropodist for tackling the yucky bits and then book a pedicure for the nice bits. I usually see my chiropodist a few times a year and then tend to book a pedicure quite soon after as I'd be mortified if my beautician saw my feet before the poor chiropodist had been at them!! ?

JML PedEgg is a miracle worker on hard skin, but if it's just dry skin then have you tried slathering feet in vaseline and then putting on socks overnight.
