Permission to brag??

Jay-Low, 18 November, 2010 at 08:23 Posted on Planning 0 4

My OH's dad received an MBE recently and I found out this means his children are allowed to get married in St Paul's Cathedral! Which means we could have applied to marry there (pending approval from the Archbishop of Cantebury). How bloody exciting!!

Venue twins with Wills & Kate perhaps??? ?

My Nan was given a BEM so i could get married there too ?

If she was still with us i may have considered it because it would have meant the world to her.

Hehe, how exciting. Well done to your Grandad to be!

My dad lives about halfway between westminster Abbey & westminster catherdal, so in theory we cud get married in the catherdral i think, as its within his parish, but think that really would mean our wedding wud get compared to theirs. Wonder how much they charge, or if its like a normal church cost?

I wouldn't like to even like to guess what the charges are to get married there.
