Personalised Dressing Gown

WhiteSparkles, 13 March, 2011 at 09:11 Posted on Planning 0 21

Does anyone have or plan to have personalised dressing gowns for the morning of the wedding? I have the TOG coming to capture the bridal party getting ready and want to have something we can wear, so thought dressing gowns with Bride, Bridesmaid, Mother of Bride, etc would be ideal. I just don't want to spend too much- not been included in our budget! Any suggestions of where I can get these would be appreciated thanks!!

Is it worth maybe making them yourselves dressing gowns are quite cheap to come by and then all you need is those iron on transfers ?? If thats not something you would consider Ebay have online stores that are doing them for £19.99 plus p+p. Hope this helps.

Hi.. I made them for my sister at her wedding.. White gowns from Asda and iron on transfers from eby.. they took 10 mins to do all 3 and worked out very cheap.. about £6 each. Or try Primark for the gowns!!

I'm swapping mine with my sister for our wedding.. so they get to do both :-)!! Bargain!!

I've had their names embroidered on them.

I love the idea of having bride/bridesmaid etc on them but thought they would be more likely to wear them again with names on them.

They really are lovely for the day but I know i'd feel a bit of a plonka answering the door to the postman in my bride robe 6 months down the line, , , , ,lol

    xx
