Personalised Napkins

lamby, 16 June, 2010 at 14:47 Posted on Planning 0 15

Hi, is anyone getting these for their wedding? We would like them and some googling seems to tell me they're not too pricey - just wondered if anyone has ordered some and would recommend - or really NOT recommend certain places?

Also, our venue is providing nice table linen so I wasn't sure whether we should just use the pers napkins to wrap cake in? Or use them in place of the venues? What do you think?

Ta!

My friend had these at her wedding about 6 years ago - not seen them since, but she got them from the Ace / Studio catalogue.

I was wondering the same because we have ordered some already - snowflake-decorated for our winter wedding - from the website below as they didn't seem pricey at all. Our venue is offerring white table linen so we were wondering also how to use the napkins... £23 for 100 luncheon size. They also do beverage size.

I got mine from Ebay, they were about £30 for 200 which is mega cheep and I'm really pleased with the quality.

My venue supply linen napkins but they do a thing where they fan out the linen one with the paper ones fanned inside it so they both stand up on each place. I'm having a navy/royal blue colour scheme so should look really nice next to the white linen.

Thanks Ladies - your site looks fab Viking - were you pleased with them? (If they've arrived yet)

Laura do you mind sending me the link to the ebay ones or do you know the name of their shop? that's mega cheap and great if they seem good qual! Thanks.

That's a good idea about incorporating venue ones too alongside them. Thanks. Was also thinking we could maybe put some on the eve buffet table? (if we got the 200 from ebay as we only have 80 guests in day so would have some spare!)

Sorry for the late reply Lamby! Forgot to check back on my posts!!

The E bay shop was called Sue's Workshop book and craft store. I did a search on Ebay for personalised napkins and it was one of the shops which came up. Really good service and I'm pelased with the quality.

Hi, lamby - sorry for delay in response - not been around a lot today - they have not arrived yet but the rest of the stuff we ordered from them has and it's good quality. I will flash them when they come!

Subtle, not.. Especially considering the pictures on your website clearly say "Heidi Sisson", should have used a more convincing username Smiley winking

Do you mean proper linen napkins?

If so, what you need to find is a teeshirt company that does embroidary, and find one that has one of the compterised machines, not hand stitching. It makes a MASSIVE difference the price.

In the past we've had teeshirts, caps, jackets, ties made for my husbands company.

I would reommend you who we used, but sadly they've recently disappeared. I think they've gone bankrupt.

There's a wedding bits and bobs insert I've received with a couple of bridal magazines I bought and they do personalised paper napkins in a colour of your choice and printed with your name and wedding date. We were thinking of getting those but I can't for the life of me find the insert or remember the company!! I think they're about £25 for 100 anyway.

There are better ways of doing it rather than lying. I for one wouldn't be interested in doing business with someone like that.

Why not make a GOOD name for yourself, think about becoming a HIB for instance.

I have tried to delete these posts (and it hasn't worked) and I have joined the Hitched suppliers list this evening.
