Just had a thought about whether I'll need a petticoat with my dress or not. Has anyone here had a fishtail / mermaid dress? Did you wear a petticoat?
I bought my dress from preloved and have an appointment with a seamstress in a couple of weeks for alternations but thinking that a petticoat might help make it a bit easier to walk in and will shorten it a bit too as it is very long.
This is me in my dress.....
I had huge heels on here but with my wedding shoes it does def need a fair bit off the length. I did try a petticoat on in a bridal shop with another dress but it was huge and the net was scratchy and annoyed me.
