Pew End Hooks- Help please!

hayley1411, 5 August, 2013 at 14:33 Posted on Planning 0 11

Hi Brides!

I am having wicker heats as pew ends but have no idea how to attach them to the pew!

I have been scouring the net and cannot find anything that would work!

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on what they are using etc?

Thanks

Hayley xx

Could you do a big ribbon loop then just hang them off the pew ends?

Agree with ATB - use ribbon and it can be a nice way to incorporate soem colour into them. My florist did the pew end hearts for us and used royal blue and silver ribbon to attach them onto the ends so it incorporated the BM colours. (Sorry, can't flash)

Agree with the ribbon idea, or twine if you are going for a naturally type wedding. The only hooks that I could think of would be something like wreath hooks like you have at Christmas. You can get clear ones - http://www.pinesandneedles.com/35cm-clear-wreath-hanger/

    Thanks Ladies

The strange thing is that the pew ends are not ended I know that sounds silly but they are rounded so I couldnt hook a ribbon over it, It would need to be something that would latch

    AHHH soo confusing!

Could you make some hooks out of wires covered in ribbon or pipe cleaners? Thing is, the florist's pew end hooks have foam attached so they're no good and you're a bit limited what to fix them with because you can't deface the pew by using metal hooks which might scratch.

    Hi Hayley!

I have exactly the same issue so I bought a load of these

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281130567216?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2648

I can hang them over the end of the pew and then hang my flowers from them, and there will be no damage to the pew at all

Hope this helps Smiley smile xx

I just used florists wire to make hooks for mine. It very bendy and you can cover the wore with ribbon if you like. I had organza bows so didn't doo this as the wore was hidden.
