Photo booth - how much is too much?

I recently had a quote of £395 for 3hrs (2x staff, 2xeach print and a guest book) but I am based in the North. Having said that I am still torn and wonder if it is worth the cost! x

We are paying £350 for 3-4 hours

Ours is bundled in with the DJ, lights and the giant light up letters that are all the rage LOL. We are paying £895 for all that for 5 hours. I am in Surrey so not likely to be the cheapest in the first place!

Ours is 500 for 6 hours and unlimited prints they also design a backdrop and present a book with all the pics and a USB. Is important to check what the print limit is, my friend didn't and an hour in they stopped letting anyone print!

I paid 395 for 4 hours and unlimited prints if that helps?

I've found a DJ that includes a photo booth for a 100 extra. Maybe enquire to see if your entertainment/ any entertainment includes it or has at an added cost?

I have seen quite a few times where people have just got some inflatable guitars/ instruments and a selection of hats and let them loose around the dance floor, seems to work well and everyone has fun taking their own photos. I know of some booths that will charge you if any props go missing, just buy your own and let them "loose"

We are in two minds, as it’s quite pricey whether to do a booth or create our own. Using a instax camera or digital camera and create a nice back drop which can also be used like a ‘selfie’ area. Not sure if that would be cheaper or not 😅

Hi. There is a company called Picture Blast who currently have 4 hours for the price of 3. A photobooth is £399 and a selfi mirror is £449, they also provide other services.
I used them for my daughters 18th and sons 30th.
I am in Nottingham and the company is based in Coventry but I think they travel and do not charge extra.

We are using diamond photobooths based in South yorkshire. We were tempted to do our own but after seeing these I decided we deserved a professional haha 🤣
