Photobooth or Flower wall for guests

Tanya, 11 February, 2025 at 16:49 Posted on Planning 0 9

Hey everyone! I could really use your thoughts on something for my wedding. So, I originally booked a photobooth for fun group shots with all the quirky hats and props. But then I thought – I have this stunning 8ft by 8ft flower wall that I own, and it might make an nice backdrop for individual and group photos instead.

I'm even toying with the idea of getting a personalised neon sign to jazz it up! In the past when I have gone to events with photobooths I’ve noticed that sometimes guests will misplace their photo strips. With the flower wall, i have the opportunity to set it up the day before and guests can snap pictures at their own pace. Plus, our photographer could capture some beautiful moments with friends and family in front of the wall.
What do you guys think? Would it be better to stick with the photobooth or should I go for using my own flower wall which could save me a bit money. Photobooth or Flower wall for guests 1

If you've already booked the photo booth, you need to check how much money you will lose by cancelling - 5 months out and you might find you have to pay so much of the balance that you won't actually save that much money in the end.

If you can cancel without a large loss of money, then go with the flower wall.

Yep as said check cancel costs otherwise your flower wall is great. And let guests take their own snaps on their phone. Silly hats optional.

Thank you, Bill and Romantic Green Stationery. I have canceled the photobooth and only lost a small deposit of less than £30, which isn't too bad. I will use my flower wall instead and save some money. Thank you both for your responses! 😊

Both options sound lovely, but since you already own a beautiful flower wall, it could definitely save you money and give guests more freedom to snap photos whenever they want. Plus, your photographer can capture some stunning, high-quality shots there without the hassle of guests misplacing prints. It’s kind of like choosing smart upgrades in a home, sometimes the hybrid choice works best, like flash batt wall insulation Columbia TN , where you get performance without overspending. Your flower wall seems like that perfect balance of personal style and budget-friendly value. I’d go for it!

Both ideas are lovely, but the flower wall sounds more flexible and timeless. It lets guests take photos at their own pace and gives your photographer more natural moments to capture. It’s a bit like using a good converter simple, reliable, and gives you results you can reuse without extra cost. Adding a neon sign could make it even more special and personal.
