Photobox and how to display my boudoir pics

sapphire_22, 18 August, 2011 at 14:23 Posted on Planning 0 6

Wrote about this on here before and a couple of people suggested photobox. The terms of use state no pornographic images can be uploaded. Most of the photos is just me in nice underwear but in a couple I'm topless. So I don't think I'm going to be able to get a photobook. Another possibility would be to go back to the tog who took them and pay him to print some off for me. But thats going to work out very expensive and, 2 weeks before the wedding, I really don't think I have the money for it.

The final possibility is that my parents have a printer which prints out photos, so if I could sneak over to their house with OH's laptop (mine's broken) then I might be able to print them off there.

Someone please tell me that there's an easier way to do this.

I used to work in a photo processing shop, and we could print topless pictures (they weren't considered pornographic). It was anything involving intercourse that wasn't allowed to be printed. Believe me I saw it all ..... a lot more than I wanted to see haha! It might be similar when printing on the web, how about try emailing photobox? x

Thanks, Mrs B2B. I'm a tiny bit embarrassed about strangers seeing my ❤️❤️ tbh. Let alone talking to people about it ?. But I will get the courage up and e-mail them.

I suppose its no more revealing than when I'm lying on the beach on holiday.

    Hi there!

I am sure many TOGs or legal profession ladies (of which I think there are a few on this forum) will reply, but just to say, you topless does not count as "pornographic" images. I have a topless picture, beautifully shot by my OH who is in photography, and Photobox have let him print it, as well as having a print of the drawing he did from that pics and that was framed. I understand that by law, the definitition of pornographic images refers only to images of people having sex, where their sexual organs are visible, or it can extend to images of women displaying their sexual organs visibly and rudely in the photographs, or to men displaying an erection, although some of these have been even considered "erotic art" by various website, one I know of being a quite well-known art / photography website and forum. A distinction seems to be often made between "erotica" (the portrayal of sexuality with high-art aspiration, focusing also on beauty, feelings and emotions) and pornography (the depiction of acts in a sensational manner, with the entire focus on the physical act, so as to arouse quick intense reactions).

You're right, MrsB 2B, I also used to work in Max Spielmann a good few years ago and we had the same rules.

Your welcome ... TBH when I worked in the shop the pictures went through the machines, then we had the quickest of flicks through them (to make sure of no bad images), then packed & filed them. Believe me they will have seen worse pictures, it's part of the job we used to just take it as a pinch of salt. Bonus with ordering online, if you can .. You will never meet the people who see your pics. The poor people we served had to come in and pick them up. Was always a few red cheeks when we pulled them out to check they were correct ?
Be brave and email, worst they can say is no xx
