Photographer and Videographer?

I think you would have to do separately, they are very different and bespoke services so normally would only specialize in one area but you could ask, your photographer maybe able to recommend videographers they have worked alongside in the past. to be honest, we decided not to do the video as they cost is a lot for 1 very short video (between £1-£1.5k for 5-10 min package) and we realistically wouldn't watch it that often, so we decided to spend a bit more on a photographer package to get the best photos and some prints and an album which we will have out on display on our home

I agree with Charlotte, we have a separate photographer and videographer - it's worth asking the photographer if there's someone they would recommend for video. The ones we have chosen have worked together many times and seem to have a great rapport.

I'd ask your photographer - we didn't have a videographer, but the photographer we used has a family member who runs a videography business, and if we had wanted a video, we'd have gone with them. Most photographers will be able to recommend a couple of videographers they work with regularly.

So my priority is a photographer, and I'll do as suggested, ask if he can recommend someone, and see what prices they come back with, but if it's going to blow the budget, photographs only is fine.

Me and my fiancé have booked someone who does both, I wasn’t going to have a videographer at all as personally I wasn’t overly bothered by it but my sister got married 2 years ago and she said her biggest regret was not having someone to video her day. Even if you only ask someone to record the ceremony and the speeches I would definitely recommend it! 😊
