Sorry to hear about your great aunt. I won't pretend to know how you are feeling as it is so different for everyone but have a big ?.

Even though she didn't get to see your photos (which by the way you look gorgeous in) as you say at least she knew you were there.

I don't really think there's much I can say other than I can completely understand how you're feeling. Some of you may have read about my dad but if not, he was diagnosed with termincal cancer last April. They gave him a course of chemo to give him a little longer but now it's like an awful waiting game - he can hardly eat and is wasting away in front of our eyes and is uncomfortable all the time, despite the painkillers they've given him.

When I went wedding dress shopping in January he did actually come with me and mum as he wasn't so bad then. I really wanted him to see me in my dress because to be honest I really don't think he'll be here for the wedding ☹️.

I'm sorry about your Aunt, as you were so sweet to want to show her the photos. It's awful to see a relative like that. My Nain passed away two months ago, and when I saw her in the hospital whilst she was still with us, I was looking at a completely different person. But this thread is about you, so I'm sending a big bear squeezy hug ?

I know exactly how you feel as I took pictures of me in my dress to show my aunt but she wasn't able to open her eyes enough to see them and sadly passed away a few days later.

She'll see you on the day though I'm sure of that because she will be around in her own way. ?

Sorry to hear about your aunt SG. I have some experience of that waiting from when my Grandad passed away earlier this year. I'm sure she's not in as much pain as you are thinking.
