plain ivory or white headband - where?

teaparty2011, 31 July, 2012 at 12:31 Posted on Planning 0 3

For some reason my daughter is having to hunt around for a plain ivory or white headband for her wedding on Saturday. The flower girl is having a real flower headband and the florist appears to have given the bride the job of finding one! Is this normal?

It has to be plain, not too wide and not too narrow (?) and not too sure what it has to be made of. It's obviously too late to get online. Any ideas?

Everything was so organised and now this!

Anything like this any use? You'd have to take off the flower, but at least you could have a look in store?

    Thanks for the help everyone!

I had a look at the ones in Claires, but the flowers were all glued on and removing them may have wrecked the band. We also couldn't order online because the florist needed the headband today and we've run out of time.

We saw some lovely ones covered in tiny dark pink, dusky pink and ivory roses and have decided to buy that and abandon the fresh flowers idea. It is a bit cheaper too and the flower girl will have something pretty to keep.
